New member here! I have been watching a bunch of Maverick videos, mostly by Tim Bartz @ Long McArthur Ford and Johnny's Car Care, attempting to learn as much as I can before placing my order.

I believe it would help resolve constraint delays on builds if Ford would offer some of the Luxury package items a la carte. I really want the SiriusXM radio option and the Bang & Olufsen audio system, but currently you must step up to the Lariat with the Luxury package to get those.

I'm glad that some new colors choices are being added for the 23' model year, as I'm leaning towards the Atlas blue or Alto blue.

Hoping they break up the XLT Lux into two parts. The bed stuff can be had later. The 400W outlet is basically worthless for anything bigger than a blow up mattress. All I want is all the heated stuff and remote keyless entry with auto start. Our miserable winters necessitate these things.

Yes, Ford is leaning towards limited option but think this is what many are asking for. Breakup the the Luxury package to interior and bed. Regarding chips, think it makes sense to take out heated mirrors, wheel and seats to a winter package. Save those chips.

There you go, yeah, a winter package and save the chips from all those who live in warmer climes and have no need of it but got them for some of the other options. Makes sense. We'll see in about a month if Ford is listening.

I just want the luxury package for the adaptive cruise control. The heated seats are a must as far as the wife is concerned. I do think it will be broken up. But it will be pricier.

The main reason I chose the lux pkg on my XLT order is for the interior stuff. Like heated/power seats and steering wheel. I like the painted mirror caps too. I don't necessarily need the bed items that come with it.

For me personally, the heated seats & steering wheel are nice, but I really wanted the heated mirrors (once you've had them in a vehicle, hard to ever go back to scraping mirrors on an icy morning). In the 2022 Escape, in all but the very bottom of the line base model they offered a Cold Weather Package for $695 that includes heated seats, heated steering wheel, and heated mirrors, as well as remote start and automatic temperature control. Compare this to the $2500 (!) Lux package, which only adds the trailer hitch (very desirable I agree, but a $100 option when added a la carte), some cheap bed doo-dads, and power driver seat (and 6-way manual passenger seat)

Such a package is not offered in the Bronco Sport or Maverick, but if it was for MY23 I would jump on that and gladly give up the rest of the Lux package stuff. The cynic in me suspects they will not offer such a combo for MY23, as I suspect many people would similarly skip the pricier Lux package for this cheaper variant, resulting in dramatically less profit. In general, most manufacturers bundle many "meh" features into large packages, to both simplify the available manufacturing configurations and (primarily) maximize profit on the sale. "We'll sell you this $695 package of stuff that we sell at a profit on Escape, but you have to pay an extra $1805 for about $805 worth of odds & ends that you don't really want or need."

But a guy can dream...

Any inkling on when the '23 colors, options, packages might be available to look at on Ford.com? It would be nice to see that info a day or two before the order banks open.

The entire luxury package is amazing. Makes such a great little truck. Love the heated stuff seats, wheel, mirrors. Remote start. 6 way seat. Spray in bed. Extra tie downs. Siding tie down. Interior and bed plug. Trailer hitch.

Man for the extra cost its amazing.
