My Model 3 had folding mirrors and it is roughly 2 inches narrower than my Tremor. You mean like giant SUVs, giant limousines, etc?
Standard parking spot is 8 feet = 96 inches wide.
F150 with mirrors out is 95.7 inches wide.
F150 with mirrors FOLDED is 86 inches wide.
Maverick with mirrors out is 83.5 inches wide.
IDK what other vehicles have automatically folding mirrors, but I'm going to assume they are WIDE.
BMW's, Audi's, Ford Explorer... I could go on but do I really need to?You mean like giant SUVs, giant limousines, etc?

No I get it. You think the top trim of a small cheap US truck should have a particular luxury feature, no matter how little it will be needed or used. Ford disagrees and so do I.BMW's, Audi's, Ford Explorer... I could go on but do I really need to?
Tons of vehicles that have folding mirrors for parking convenience and safety. You are confusing the convenience of POWER folding mirrors with the fact that almost ALL MODERN VEHICLES are equipped with manual folding mirrors. All we are discussing is the creature feature that is the electronic version. You seem to be confused and have some sort of agenda here... It's not going well.
Wait when you can say 60 years. Then your mindset just might change a bit. Just an observation from someone who has been there and done that.No I get it. I have never once in 40 years of driving felt the need to fold a mirror. But I don’t drive a truck with an 8 foot wingspan and I haven’t parked much in Europe.
That's the way they come. You have to go local shop, and get the front door windows, and windshield tinted to your likes. Be careful how dark you go local laws can restrict front door tints.Dealer called and said he had a 23 lariat hybrid that the customer bailed on.
It was fully loaded..... Lux package, 360 asst. Moon roof, even loved the color!!!!
Was perfect....... bought it instantly with no haggling.....
Driving home and I'm like "what's up with this sun"? Then I realized there is not a drop of tint anywhere on this thing.
Is tint not an option? Who orders a fully loaded truck with no tint???
Just though it was odd!!!! Cool little truck though still.
I agree with this, and to be clear all cars have folding mirrors for safety. OP is talking about power folding mirrors, which are pretty much just used for parking.A lot of "luxury" cars do- mostly German. The streets are stupid narrow there, so it is a thing so they don't get busted off as often.
or for hybrid owners hypermilingWhy is everyone worried, and asking about folding mirrors? Even the Lariat with lux package doesn't have HOMELINK. The Maverick fits in a garage, not even an option.
I called the local shop and set up to have all doors done then walked out today and saw rear doors actually had a tint.So you are suggesting that the front door windows are exactly like the factory rear door windows?
Post a pic...
.

They feel pretty hot so I doubt they are ceramic so will probably swap them out anyway.
Well..... probably just back 2 doors, maybe back as well. Will have to see what the shop has to say about doing it.LOL, what exactly are you 'swapping out"?
.
I just picked up my 23 a few days ago and although there is a factory tint, the windshield is high and large and you get a lot of sun in so you’re gonna need go limo bar at the top. I did a dark tint about 1/3 of the windshield down from the top and it makes a big difference I'd post pictures, but I can't get my wife out of the damn thing. She's driving it everywhere and not letting me near it. Lol.Dealer called and said he had a 23 lariat hybrid that the customer bailed on.
