I wonder who's truck that is since L M hasn't gotten any stock orders.
But I'm sure it rips if it's been tuned

Tim, what about a twister edition Like this?I was trying to wait for the video but this does have a Cobb Tuning Kit on it as a performance upgrade. (Spoiler Alert)
No, I do not work for any car dealer, I am not sure that it is 'more appealing to more buyers' is the goal of any business, though a noble idea. This is a stupid argument. Do you work for Long McArthur? I understand how they got where they got. I am simply making an easy argument for selling MORE vehicles like that. I assure you that they are meeting profit margins, even if they lowered the price on this. Also, this kind of work does not come across my desk. Most dealers have internal advisors that make less than I do to handle this stuff that is low or no margin work. If you could do all the work on that truck yourself through vendors at a cost thousands less, what route are you taking? I KNOW someone will buy that truck. But it is a better proposition if it is more appealing to more buyers. I can raise my prices in service daily, and some people will keep paying it. But if I want to retain as many clients as possible I can't simply make the prices whatever I want. The consumer will vote with their dollar and the business will lose
Dealerships pay for retirement, medical, etc. A lot of mechanics in independent shops don't have those perks. That being said, for that price I would expect the dealer techs to be 100% competent to fix what is wrong.Does part of the profit from the parts and labor pay your salary?
You don't think that businesses want their products and services to be appealing to the broadest possible base? Umm, okNo, I do not work for any car dealer, I am not sure that it is 'more appealing to more buyers' is the goal of any business, though a noble idea.
The customer turned down the Maverick so it became available as stock.I wonder who's truck that is since L M hasn't gotten any stock orders.

No, this is a targeted base. You don't think that businesses want their products and services to be appealing to the broadest possible base? Umm, ok
Finally, a voice of reason. Then maybe they could justify the $10k.I would really like to work with your dealership on a real performance package you could offer your customers. Intake, Intercooler upgrade, 3 inch catted downpipe and 3 inch exhaust, turbo upgrade, and tune. Add some lowering springs and lightweight 18 inch wheels and they would fly off your lot.
Most dealers charge a dealer fee.Long McArthur said in one of their videos they charge a dealer doc fee?
I've never once been charged a dealer doc fee. In one of their Escape videos they said it's $500! A $500 "document prep" fee. C'mon man... get real. That sounds like a dealer markup with a disguised name for the fools willing to pay it.
Sounds about right from a dealership charging $10k for maybe $4k max of upgrades. Shady dealer tactics disguised are even worse than outright blatant markups. I'd love to see the invoice and prices of these add-on's and the cost of labor for them.
I forwarded your information to our Aftermarket Manager, Blake Cormack. Hopefully, we can work together for the 2024 model year. At this point, all of our 400 allocations are for customer orders and we would love to offer an option for some performance upgrades for their Mavericks.I would really like to work with your dealership on a real performance package you could offer your customers. An XL AWD with 4k tow would be ideal. I can already see itI forwarded your information to our Aftermarket Manager, Blake Cormack. Hopefully, we can work together for the 2024 model year.
