Hey all -

I have been interested in a Maverick ever since they came out in 2022, but unfortunately I had just settled on a 2022 Camry SE as my daily driver. I've had it since September of 2021 and it finally seemed like time to make the switch. The biggest factors were that the hybrid became available with the AWD, and they are finally on the lots, available for purchase. I built the blue Lariat BAP I wanted online and figured I might end up ordering it then found that my normal dealer had a 2025 almost exactly as I built it on the lot. Only thing it didn't have was the PPF film on the fenders/hood. The $2k in rebates plus X-plan pricing was enough to choose that particular Maverick. I won't get it until next week which should give them time to get the recall done (uggg...). I pointed out the Camry has had zero recalls and zero issues in the 60k miles I put on it so maybe Ford should give me an extra "recall rebate" but no such luck.

I will be looking here for recommendations for a tonneau cover ASAP. I like the tri-fold hard covers for this truck but want easy removal.

being a '25 you get auto- down on all windows, a real spare, sliding rear window, charge pad + with the BAP, you get black Ford ovals- nice truck
Thanks for the info! I was wondering about the wireless charger. I drove a 2026 non-BAP at another dealer and it didn't have that and I thought the one I bought did. I guess I didn't realize the sliding rear window was not on the window sticker, and yeah, when I built a 2026 I remember adding one. The real spare is a good thing, again, I didn't realize the difference.

spare and window will now cost you $465 in a '26- add that to what you saved

LOL. The Camry is actually super reliable, gets great mileage, and I wish the Maverick drove like it, but I can't have everything I guess. I have a 22 F150 3.5 max-tow for when I need a truck so the Camry was a sensible option, but the Maverick will be better. I'm definitely not testing out the 4k tow package on the Maverick.

Will do,, once I have it!

How do you like the hard tonneau cover? Is it easily removable? I like the idea of a hard cover but would want to remove/install about once a week.

sweet ride, but why did they put the key pad there instead on the B pillar?

No idea, but it reminds me of my old 1992 Crown Vic. Maybe the orientation of the numbers on the buttons? Guess I didn't notice.

You will need help removing a hard cover because of the weight compared to a trifold soft top, at my age, a soft top removal no problem.. (I'm 85)

I agree with Frank, if you need to keep taking it off, stay away from the hard roll ups and hard fold tops. It’s all about our individual needs.
