No greenI have a current order with LM. I placed it the last day ordering was open, 1/27/2022, so I am not expecting to get it as a 2022. At present my order is a Cactus Gray XLT EB with 4k tow, FX4, and CP360. My intention is to change my order to:
Hybrid, Lariat, Luxury Package, CP360, in Cactus Gray/Fighter Jet Gray (or Eruption Green if that happens to be available).
I plan to have to wait for this for a while since it will have all sorts of constraints. I have a $3k off order with Granger that I am going to simplify for 2023 if it doesn't get scheduled as a 2022. I'm hoping by removing constraints I can get it built fairly soon and drive it for a while before trading it on my LM order.
As it seems that Chapman Ford gets some positive press here, at least for the data they provide, I thought I'd point out that they don't want to honor PRICE PROTECTION!!! My Bronco Sport Badlands went up $2000, about 3 months after my order. If you are waiting more than 6 months you may see 2-3 prices increases. It is good to figure out what you want to do in advance. That way you can collect relevant data from the onset and avoid incomplete datasets. The Chapman threads grew organically over time. As a result, they have gaps in the data that could have been (perhaps) filled if collected earlier on.
We have two primary data sets. @theway-yay-ting maintains a list of allocation history and units remaining unscheduled (here). Chapman has graciously provided the raw data (as Tim does for L-M). The other table (here) is orders by trim over time; scheduled or unscheduled. This is user contributed and collated. It is worth a shout out to @JBnorthTX as he started a lot of this with his compilation of the old Thursdays scheduling threads back in January/February.
There is massive data in the forum's order tracker spreadsheet. However, there is about 10% errant and duplicate entries. It is good for order history, trim and option selection. However it is poor and scheduled dates or build related info. Perhaps @Administrator could fix the date sorting on the graphs so it displays reasonably.
I'm hoping the list of colors that has been unofficially released (leaked?) isn't complete and Eruption Green is an option. Green seems to have fallen out of favor in recent years, it is one of my favorite colors for vehicles so I hope it comes back.No green. Unless it gets added as a late addition option sometime in the future. I can't remember for sure, but I think changing the body code of your current order when switching to 2023 (from your EB to a Hybrid) might remove your priority? Just something to confirm before you pull the trigger.
Will be interesting to see which would be produced first. The LM order or the Granger.
We aren't talking leaks anymore. This is as official as it gets (directly from Ford).I'm hoping the list of colors that has been unofficially released (leaked?) isn't complete and Eruption Green is an option.
Oh well. Now I have to decide if I need to hope my Granger order in Velocity Blue gets scheduled right at the end of 2022 production. It probably won't so I will likely be choosing a new color for my 2023 "roll over."We aren't talking leaks anymore. This is as official as it gets (directly from Ford).

Tim told me they would be in touch 8/2 and I have no reason to doubt him.For those of you that put in a soft MY23 pre-order request from Long McArthur by way of the MY22 order guide, have you been assigned a salesperson yet? Just curious as I have not yet. Maybe that doesn’t happen until the order is placed Aug 2nd. I realize they are probably flooded with pre orders. I have full trust in Tim, again just curious.
