I have a current order with LM. I placed it the last day ordering was open, 1/27/2022, so I am not expecting to get it as a 2022. At present my order is a Cactus Gray XLT EB with 4k tow, FX4, and CP360. My intention is to change my order to:

Hybrid, Lariat, Luxury Package, CP360, in Cactus Gray/Fighter Jet Gray (or Eruption Green if that happens to be available).

I plan to have to wait for this for a while since it will have all sorts of constraints. I have a $3k off order with Granger that I am going to simplify for 2023 if it doesn't get scheduled as a 2022. I'm hoping by removing constraints I can get it built fairly soon and drive it for a while before trading it on my LM order.

No green :( . Unless it gets added as a late addition option sometime in the future. I can't remember for sure, but I think changing the body code of your current order when switching to 2023 (from your EB to a Hybrid) might remove your priority? Just something to confirm before you pull the trigger.

Will be interesting to see which would be produced first. The LM order or the Granger.

It is good to figure out what you want to do in advance. That way you can collect relevant data from the onset and avoid incomplete datasets. The Chapman threads grew organically over time. As a result, they have gaps in the data that could have been (perhaps) filled if collected earlier on.

We have two primary data sets. @theway-yay-ting maintains a list of allocation history and units remaining unscheduled (here). Chapman has graciously provided the raw data (as Tim does for L-M). The other table (here) is orders by trim over time; scheduled or unscheduled. This is user contributed and collated. It is worth a shout out to @JBnorthTX as he started a lot of this with his compilation of the old Thursdays scheduling threads back in January/February.

There is massive data in the forum's order tracker spreadsheet. However, there is about 10% errant and duplicate entries. It is good for order history, trim and option selection. However it is poor and scheduled dates or build related info. Perhaps @Administrator could fix the date sorting on the graphs so it displays reasonably.
As it seems that Chapman Ford gets some positive press here, at least for the data they provide, I thought I'd point out that they don't want to honor PRICE PROTECTION!!! My Bronco Sport Badlands went up $2000, about 3 months after my order. If you are waiting more than 6 months you may see 2-3 prices increases.

My recommendation, Get it at Grainger, 6% under invoice and no Hassles

I'm hoping the list of colors that has been unofficially released (leaked?) isn't complete and Eruption Green is an option. Green seems to have fallen out of favor in recent years, it is one of my favorite colors for vehicles so I hope it comes back.

I expect I will get my Granger order first by a significant margin. It is going to remain an ecoboost and I'm going to drop CP360 from it so it shouldn't have any constraints. I only didn't do that for 2022 because I was hoping I could get one build date and then cancel the other orders. Since that isn't happening I'm going to see if I can't get the Granger order near the top on the list by having no constraints. Since I'm planning to trade it on a hybrid from LM I can live without it for the short term.

If my LM order change to a hybrid looses me my place in line I'm okay with that, hopefully I will eventually be driving an Ecoboost Maverick while I wait for it.

For kicks I tried to order a 2023 F-150. The link makes me enter my personal information after choosing a dealer and let them contact me instead of making my selections and choosing a dealer.

I hope this will NOT be the case on 8-2 or dealers will inevitably drop the ball when ordering scores of Mavericks, Rangers, Edge SUV's, Explorers, and Bronco Sports the the SAME day.

A well prepared dealership like LM with 18 sales persons, 3 BDC's, a super stellar Internet Manager and sales managers will drop their 400+ (and counting) Maverick orders along with the other models in what I expect will be a 500-999 day.

We aren't talking leaks anymore. This is as official as it gets (directly from Ford).

Oh well. Now I have to decide if I need to hope my Granger order in Velocity Blue gets scheduled right at the end of 2022 production. It probably won't so I will likely be choosing a new color for my 2023 "roll over."

Eruption Green doesn't really go with the Maverick interior colors I suppose. The only thing that keeps me from seriously considering a 2023 Bronco Sport (which will be available in EG) Big Bend in Eruption Green instead of the Maverick is the powertrain. I don't want anything to do with that 1.5 liter 3-cylinder turbo.

Going with Long McArthur because every Ford dealership in and around the San Antonio, Texas area just reeks of a shady operation.
My 2023 order, based on 2022 specs currently in
place...
XLT hybrid
Cactus Gray
Co-pilot 360
Spray-in bed liner
Trailer hitch
Delivered to San Antonio.
I'm in no hurry. I have a perfectly fine, paid for Lexus to get around with.
Hopefully by next summer to celebrate my 60th birthday and my retirement.

For those of you that put in a soft MY23 pre-order request from Long McArthur by way of the MY22 order guide, have you been assigned a salesperson yet? Just curious as I have not yet. Maybe that doesn’t happen until the order is placed Aug 2nd. I realize they are probably flooded with pre orders. I have full trust in Tim, again just curious.

Tim told me they would be in touch 8/2 and I have no reason to doubt him.

That’s what Tim told me too. I just thought I heard something different in a recent video. I trust Tim also. Maybe I heard it wrong or he was speaking of something else.

@fordvideoguy can explain it better than I, but I believe you get $1,000 off delivery if you have it sent to your home if you finance it through Long McArthur. You can also have it shipped to your local Ford dealer if they and Long McArthur agree.

Ford should parter with Long McArthur and offer a Long McArthur special edition to show support for all Tim has done for them related to Maverick sales. It might seem unfair but I don’t think it would be if they limited it a certain small number of units.
