I'm thinking about a LOMAX Hard Tri-Fold bed cover for my Mav and can't find any threads about this product. Anyone have one?

I have one. I had the same cover on my super duty and liked it so I got one for the maverick. Install was easy. No flop or flex when driving.

I’ve had one on the last two trucks I’ve owned. They are about 99% water proof and are built solid. Would highly recommend one.

I also have a LOMAX. I like it a lot. I just get a couple of drops by the tail gate in heavy rain. I was going to go with the Rough Country tonneau but they were discontinued for a bit. @Mitch Panda Motorworks hooked me up with the LOMAX for a great price instead.

Edited to add: The LOMAX has been on the truck since May 2023. It's held up to the Florida sunshine and the New Mexico heat perfectly fine. The only damage so far is a tiny hail stone dent from a monster storm that did $10k worth of damage to my Maverick.

The only caveat is the the panel closest to the rear window doesn't fold up. But if I'm carrying something big, I just remove the whole thing and put it in the back seat.

I have a Lomax Stance, which I think is essentially the same one, with the added feature that it can stand vertically behind the can so you have full access to the bed without removing the whole thing.

After three years I still think it is a superb cover: sturdy (all aluminum construction), seals well, easy to use, still looks perfect even after sitting outside all that time.

I anticipate it will probably outlast most other bed covers that are typically composite construction.

Lots of thumbs up on the Lomax 👍👍👍

I was thinking of the LOMAX "Stance" Thanks for the info. Has anyone also used that company's weather seal for the tailgate? Thanks everyone!

I have the Lomax Stance and have had it for a year now. I really like it. On my first Maverick I had the hard roll up and it was nice as well. But I really like the low profile plus large bed access when needed that the Lomax Stance provides. Now you do have to stick 2 adhesive pucks to your roof to use the vertical position. Which is what makes it different as most other hard fold up tonneau covers use rods to hold it up. Which take up space in the bed a tiny bit versus this taking up no space. Just adding the pucks to the top that don't look too bad, but aren't sleek either.

I put the LOMAX Stance on my 2025 Lariet. This is a significant upgrade from the Ford tri-fold soft cover I had on my 2022.
I ordered the weather seal but I have not installed it. The tailgate gap appears to be too large in few places and I was not sure how to install it for a good seal. It was an impulse buy and I may never install it.

I have the LOMAX Stance as well and am glad I purchased it. Pretty versatile and tough. I was especially glad I chose it over other less expensive options when I saw a Ford branded one with hail damage. Careful installation and a tailgate gasket will keep the bed pretty dry.

Just a note on hard cover versus soft bed covers. I had a Ford installed soft cover on my 2011 Ranger and now I have the hard roll-up on my Maverick. Living up here where winters are cold and snowy, and sometimes covered in freezing rain, the soft top was always self-cleaning—I never had to worry about getting that last bit of snow or ice off of it. The wind while driving moved the cover enough to break anything off that was stuck on there. The hardcover cost me a full cycle at the coin-operated car wash to finally get all the ice off. The positive of having to hardcover is the extra security of being able to lock it the tailgate and not worrying about someone opening it with a knife.

🤓 Yes, and I love it, no problems since early 2022. I don’t have a good picture of that, I’ll have to take one tomorrow when the sun is out. It’s 9 PM here now so it’s too dark and I don’t have a garage.
