LOMAX Hard Foldup, Has anyone have experience with these?

I have the Lomax with diamond plate aluminum to keep the bed cooler inside. It is a really good tonneau cover and seals very well against water intrusion without installation of any drain tubes or stick-on rubber foam. So installation is super easy. Just clamp the 2 side rails in place and snap the tonneau cover on.

I did NOT use the clamps from Lomax (Agricover is the manufacturer) as the Lomax clamps did not fit well in my opinion. I bought these clamps for $20 and they fit quite well with the Maverick bed: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09V1SLJ88?

If someone used the Lomax clamps, I would be quite interested to see phots on both sides of the Maverick bed rail.

Now you do have to stick 2 adhesive pucks to your roof to use the vertical position. Which is what makes it different as most other hard fold up tonneau covers use rods to hold it up. Which take up space in the bed a tiny bit versus this taking up no space. Just adding the pucks to the top that don't look too bad, but aren't sleek either.
You can use an allen key to move the rods to line up with the black weatherstripping on the roof to make it look a lot cleaner than sticking those pucks to the paint.

Oh interesting. Never thought of that. I assume the Allen key gives adjustment to where, width wise those arms swing out from? It's too late for me now lol but maybe it will help the next person.

Yes, the other end of the rods slides along a channel on the bed cover. It runs parallel to the back of the cab. You can line it right up. Realtruck has a video demonstrating it. I bet you can use a heat gun or blow dryer to soften the glue and move yours.

For anyone looking at these, Luke at Truck Alterations has them for a hell of a lot less than anywhere else I've found. He's about $200 less than Agri-Cover direct, even with their 15% discount, plus they don't charge tax for out of state purchases. I got a Stance for $1015 OTD.

Thanks for the recommendation. I did use the clips provided by LOMAX but I agree they were not a good fit. I plan to replace them when I get home from vacation. I will post before and after pictures.

I did and will take pics once it dries out a bit here. I do remember them being a nuisance. I also put a strip of aluminum flat stock on the inside of the vertical rail of the truck bed for the clamps to engage without damaging the bed at all.
