Licence plate location with tow package?

I've seen a picture of the Maverick with the tow option and the licence plate is off center. Anyone know if that's a true rendition of the plate? I'd think it would have to be in the center of the truck.

Yea I believe all rear plate are offset

The plate is offset to the passenger side.

It's on the right for all models I believe. Even without the hitch there's a plastic pop out for where the hitch would be located if installed after the fact.

All models are exactly the same spot.

Also, rear license plates don't need to be in the middle. Some vehicles just come that way.
