I am looking for the best quality letters for the tailgate? Recommendations.

I can’t tell you with 100% certainty that these are the best but I bought them and put them on my Maverick. Here is the link:

I am more than satisfied with them. Be sure to prep the tailgate first. I used rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball and applied them in direct sunlight with temps in the 70’s. They are a little pricy but there are several different options to choose from.

I can not tell you what the best are but there is a recent post about a bed cover install with pictures. The poster has letters that are just an outline and they look good , in my opinion.

"R" and "Q". Those are far higher quality letters than "M" and "T"--just look at the pleasing rounding, as compared to the clumsy straight lines . . .

I'll second the Tufskinz recommendation. They're pricey but very well made.

I've had a very positive experience with this seller on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/str/afxtrim. I purchased two sets of Maverick tailgate letters as well as front and rear letters for our other truck. The letters are the raised type, feel very sturdy, and have held up perfectly through several car washes.

I don't have a link, but I got my matte black 3D raised letters off EBAY and have been very pleased with them. As said the absolute key is prep. I cleaned the area with simple green and then wiped down with rubbing alcohol and let air dry. Hope this helps.
