Yes DYI , many Youtube videos showing how it's done. Any skills at all, you'll be fine!

Although I would recommend using the part numbers from the online catalog and ordering directly through your local dealer. Myself and at least a few others placed orders online that have never shipped and nobody at Ford or dealer has been of help.

What material are the mats rubber or hard plastic like wheather tech

A rubber material, I've had weather tech before, these seem more heavy duty and thicker.

Also wondering this. I had the Chevy All Weather version which was Floppy Rubber in 2012 and they fell apart in a matter of a few months.... Cost me $100 for them too.

When you get the truck if you could do a video on installing the tail gate assist that would be great.
