Left taillights not constantly on when driving

I installed the Lasfit rear red turn signal on both sides. The right side works and is on while driving. The left is not. The lights work on left side when unlocking the vehicle. What do you all think?

I had the same problem , the dealer did a software update because of the recall with the brake light 2 weeks ago , so far did not happen again.

Was that a recall just for the 4k tow package and the tail light issue?

umm good question , I had the problem even with the halogen bulbs , some say its the BCM ( Body Control Module )

Have you tried reinstalling the bulbs but flipping them?

This is just what mine is doing now.... Called the dealer and they will do the software update next week with the mobile service. I find it odd it is acting up now.

Are your issues happening before you had the recent software update? I had no issues with my truck before they they came to do my update. My issues popped up afterwards but did not last more than a few days.

After my softrware update for the common brake light issue (where it does not recognize a bulb outage) I had all sorts of weird things going on when I first starting driving. Mine is a 4K Lariat AWD 2.0L ECO 2023. My controls were messed up and things like heat, radio etc where not working properly. I did a full master reset from the display screen and then made sure my software was up to date on the screens. After a couple of reboots and trips where the truck was turned off completely and then restarted normally everything starting working correctly and it has not acted up since. So make sure your software updating is turned on and that you are at the latest software level...and it will tell you if it is. If you do the master reset you will lose any info and may have to reconfigure some settings you had. Also a bunch of short trips allowing the vehicle to reinitialize after siting for a while is what finally fixed all the system issues I had. I'm glad I waited a few days before calling the dealer to complain since they probably would have messed up the truck trying to figure out the issues.

Also to mention the backup light is out also. The whole right rear lamp assembly is over and out.

Yeh...read the notes in this thread...if you messed with the original lights and replaced with LEDs then all bets are off since these trucks are sensitive to amerage changes outside of their specs....that's the world we live in now with all these smart electronic chips. If it hasn't been touched then take to dealer to let them work it out. I would pull the tailight and just make sure the plug is fully seated if you had it out for any reason. You can also pull the neg bat cable for 20 minutes to make the truck do a full reset.
