LED tail lights Anyone use them yet

Zero verified reviews. They look nice, but I'd be wary. If a cheap replacement bulb fails, I can stomach that, but not $500 worth of stuff.

Can't see where they mention how they address hyperflashing. Maybe I missed it, but the only way to make these work across all XL/XLT variants would be to have resistors built in.

I like lit strip around the outside and the smoked lens, but yes would like to know if the quality is up to the price.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like those still use halogen bulbs in all of the standard positions (look at the reviews for the Silver w/LED version which all mention that it comes with bulbs). The LED version just has the Lariat-style accent lighting illuminated by LED.

Also, unless you have a Lariat, a BAP or Tremor Maverick the LED won't work anyway, since there is no wire on the XL and XLT harness to pug it into.

Good catch. I glossed right over the one image with a "OEM quality bulb" which is exactly what I would not want paired with my snazzy Lariat-esque accents.

I think that's what the extra pigtail adapter they tout is for.

Not enough reviews and all 5 stars. Suspect listing.

At the very least, make sure they come with bulbs and if they do, that the bulbs are replaceable - not made into the assembly (like OEM LED headlights). Despite claims of long life, a lot of LEDs suffer from premature failure...

Also, no way to know how bright they are. So many LEDs are way too bright, and end up pissing off drivers behind you when stuck at a red light. Or the tail lights are so bright that it looks like the truck is moving down the road with brake lights on. Hardly safer than OEM lamps that were engineered to be of a certain brightness for a reason.

Yes pigtail is so leds will work with xl and xlt, would love to hear from someone who has them, there are a couple different sellers on Amazon neither of them have any verified reviews
I want the led strip and also would like the smoked lens, I may be the Guinea pin, the add says they are returnable lol.

I switched to LEDs not long after buying my 2023. One has dimmed but it’s one of the Bed lights. The rear brake lights are doing great!

I have them installed they “use to work fine” till Ford did a software update and now THE DASHBOARD BLINKERS FLASH EXCESSIVELY FAST! I’ve heard of installing the resistor but haven’t researched that installation yet?
if you buy them be ready for fast flashing blinkers, just my opinion. Thanks
