Every once in a while I'd see a drip of water on the mat on the front passenger side floor. This has always happened driving through rain. I bought new mats and when I removed the old Matt (which was a plastic formed mat) the carpet was soaked and full of mold. I called the dealer so its going in Monday. Has anybody encountered this problem, and if so what

was wrong and how did they fix it. I did run water in the windshield area but no leak. I think it happens when I go through large puddles. I mentioned to the dealer it should be covered under warranty and she said if they can't find the problem I'll be charged $200.00.

Find a new dealer.

$200 if they can't find the problem ? Obviously water inside your cabin IS A PROBLEM and just because they can't find the source shouldn't be your problem.

Also what year ?

This issue has popped up for a few people here over the years. If I recall correctly it had something to do with the cowling and window seal.

Its a late 2022 only 13000 miles. The lady at the dealer said she has to tell everyone that.

My Mav is my first Ford ever. I love my Mav. But when I read posts like this about dealer's incompetence for known and documented issues, I can't help but think the dealers are the weakest link in the FoMoCo chain.

That said, Tesla has no dealer service network and my friends that have issues don't have anything good to say about their service experience at Tesla owned centers either.

Hey, Mike. Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this passenger side leak concern. Thanks!

The dealer service can make or break it all. Up until very recently our service experience has been great. That is no longer the case and we are getting to the point of just taking the truck an hour to another dealer.

I took it in with pictures and invoices that people shared on this sight. Hopefully it helps them and I don't have to do what you did. Thanks

Well, it was the COWL. Thanks everyone! When I took it in I told the dealership what people said on this site. They put a new one in with silicone sealant. Now the carpet which needs replaced is on back order but that's ok. Thanks everyone for your feedback....

It would be great if someone could post a picture, part# for the seal, or Ford service diagram of where the seal is. Is there any way for DIY people to silicone it?
