My local dealer has a 3rd party that does their leak testing, they did that today for me on my '25 and said they identified the fresh air intake water diverter part as being defective. I'm not sure I fully think this is correct, because even when the floor was all wet the cabin air filter was dry? But they are taking it seriously and ordering parts and new carpet without any pressure. So we'll see.

Yup, common issue.

You'd think 3-4 years into production they would have fixed the issue...

I don't think this part fails over time. It's either good or bad from factory due to poor install.

Dealer only needed the truck for about a day and a half to replace the fresh air cowl/passengers side carpet. Hopefully this was the only actual leak!

I like the note about pictures of old part.
Betting it's an ongoing factory install issue where that seal gets rolled back and torn. Don't know what year yours is but we are almost 4 years into production with same ongoing issue.

This was on a brand new 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid, happy I caught it super early. Car was only a few weeks old.
:ROFLMAO:
Honestly the more people who start reporting their issues to the nhtsa especially with the documented paperwork to show what was defected, who knows, they may be forced to do an actual recall on the part; warranty repair or not for those of us who are beyond the warranty coverage.

Here are the pictures on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid - 1800 miles. Leak into the HVAC box as well. The first picture is mine, the second from the dealer.

I have a 2025 Lariat same issue- water on passenger floor. Luckily I have WeatherTech style mats. Truck was at the dealer for 2 weeks said it is the seal in the windshield and they have put in a claim to Ford. They gave me the truck back because Ford has not replied back. Truck has less than 2k on it. I checked back in on the status of the claim and Ford has not responded- It has been over a month and a half and now it is raining again. Has anyone been stonewalled like this?

There are a couple of possible leak spots on the truck, my 2025 wasn't a windshield seal, it was the fresh air cowl intake, it might be worth having them recheck what they think is the leak source.
