Do you have LASFIT? I've never heard of their lights hyper flashing until I got to this thread
I do. I've never experienced it but I believe LASFIT mentions it on their bulbs for the Maverick.

Thanks for that. I'll do more looking around. Before I do that I'm going to do a tailgate light bar install and hardwire it to the tail lights so that co pilot still works

Just got my 23 Maverick EB XL last week and the first thing i want to upgrade are my light bulbs.
Being Amazon prime day is next week, I've added both led buld brands to my cart with the hopes of them being on sale.
Are there any pro and cons of each led buld brand?
I've looked that the Diode Dynamics site and you can chose the lumens of each buld. It does't seem the case for Lasfit.
Stay away from either. GTR is what you want:

22+ Ford Maverick GTR Carbide 2.0 LED 3rd Brake & Cargo Light | HR (headlightrevolution.com)

22+ Ford Maverick 1200LM Ultra LED Reverse Lights | HR (headlightrevolution.com)

Also, be aware, LED lights do not "cast" the light very far as compared to halogen. Never replace your headlights with LED lights. You will be every disappointed.

They are super bright no doubt about it. Which is why I like them. If they get hot enough they will hyperflash on the dash. It has only happened to me once in about a years use. I would imagine if you re in super hot environments it could do it sooner than 5 minutes. I am in Central, Louisiana and it's been in the 100's the last couple of weeks and Ive not experienced it, but rarely am I at a stop sign or red light that last more than a few minutes.

From Lasfit in January this year:

" Since these bulbs built-in Intelligent Temperature Control, if you use for a long time (a few vehicles maybe 2-5 minutes, it depends on year/make/model and temperature) may happen hyper flash, please turn off and cool 1-2 minutes, they will work normally again. "

I'd never buy from a site like that, mainly because I've never heard of it and would be skeptical of any issues should they arise, but what reason are the ones you linked any better?

And I get what you mean, putting LEDs in halogen housings. You are correct and it will blind people, but thankfully it's not an issue with the standard LED headlights. As you later mentioned, their choice to do so is similar to others... Cost to replace benefits them greatly. I get where you are coming from but thankfully not really a discussion needed on this forum ;) Nobody can replace halogen headlights with LEDs here lol. Isn't it great?

Where did you order them from? Maybe the older batches? I thought they put a resistor in them to prevent the hyperflashing.
When the resistor gets too hot the resistance changes and the computer detects it and hyper flash is turned on to let you know the bulb circuit has an out of expected range problem.

Well, Lasfit got back to me about the hyperflashing bulbs.
The were pleasant about it and referred to the Notice at the bottom of the product page for these bulbs which, among other things, stated:

2. Since these bulbs built-in Intelligent Temperature Control, if you use them for a long time (a few vehicles maybe 2-5 minutes, it depends on year/make/model and temperature) may happen hyper flash, please turn off and cool 1-2 minutes, they will work normally again.

I probably read that, but only remembered the Lasfit claim that their system reduces hyperflashing 90%.

They did offer a full refund per their policy.

I just wanted to let everyone know the explanation and outcome of this perceived problem with the Switchbacks.

I will keep these bulbs since the hyperflash time limit parameter isn’t usually an issue.

If bulb longevity turn out to be very short 1-2 years, I will report back on this.

I've had Lasfit and I have DD. One thing I notice is that the DD bulbs are constructed better and make the lasfits look cheap in comparison. Having said that, the only bulb I've had a problem with is the DD(the diode separated from the housing). I will say though that DDs customer service was amazing and they rectified the problem immediately and it has been functioning great ever since(several years now). The DD bulbs never hyperblink, though I did also get the DD super tap turn signal modual(not on a maverick though). Not sure of the customer service level you would get from Lasfit.

I had one bulb that I got that was out of sync. They asked me to send a picture. They shipped me a whole set the same day. So, I'd say their customer service is good. I've purchased DD lights in the paste I just don't find they are worth the cost in the long run. By the way I've been running these LASFIT for over a year now without issue.
