Well, a 2nd set of @LASFIT Taillights have failed. Not sure if they need all four taillights to be LED or not but the brake and blinker portions have failed a 2nd time.

Both times they have lasted about 6 months. Now I do have to say that Lasfit's customer service is excellent, just the product on taillights, not so much. I have also installed Lasfit back up lights and they seam to be working well.

Installed the front only amber/white turn signal Lasfit. For the most part been fine on my 2023 XLT FX4. Only saw a hyperflash just once go figure. On purpose didn't install LED Rear turn signal bulbs. Prior issues with another car that I went to full LED. Different brand and experienced bad hyperflashing.

Same issue here! All of my Lasfit bulbs are holding up except the Rear Brake Bulbs. I've burned through 4 of them already. They did stop selling these Rear Brake Bulbs, and likely because of the quality issues as described in this thread. I will not be buying any more LASTfit bulbs.

I am on my 3rd set of LasFit Cargo/Reverse lights.
Service has been great I even called in to declare another outage 1 week ahead of warranty expiration to put in closet for rainy day.

I went through a few sets myself and ended up just putting the stock ones back in even though I really liked the look and brightness of the Lasfit ones.
Yep, I saved my factories and put them back in. I wanted LED's because they illuminate quicker, but oh well

I had a set of Las-Fit Switchbacks, rear backup and rear turn signal lights on my 2023 XLT. I have to give them credit those Leds are bright and of good quality. I never had a problem with them until Ford issued the recall for the rear turn signals on the BCM - once my dealer did that - the rear turn signals stop functioning and Hyper flashing showed up.

I complained to Las-Fit about it and their customer support was quick to react as they confirmed that the recall had changed the way the BCM on the Maverick performed and that a fix for this would be out soon. I believe it was about two months later they sent me free new LEDs that corrected the issue. Fast forward may not one month later Ford did a recall to fix the recall they did earlier on The BCM again which broke this set of rear turn signal LEDs again. Lol

Hyper flashing every where so it didn't matter to me at that point as I was trading in my 2023 XLT for a shiny new 2025 Lariat. This time around I will probably just do the Las-Fit switch backs and nothing else to avoid the hyper flashing if Ford should have to perform some sort of change on the BCM. To everyone -AVOID CHANGING OUT THE REAR TURN SIGNALS IF YOU DON'T WANT HYPER FLASHING!

I never had the hyper flashing probably because I kept the lower bulbs the incandescent and uppers as LED, which is one of the reasons I changed only two of them.

It maybe. I change both all three 1. Top back and bottom. 2. the reverse light on both sides. they were all very bright and beautiful until the recall and then the sequential recall broke everything. which of the three did you change ?

I like that idea. 👍
I will probably try that.
I may put one LED on the top on one side and one LED on the bottom on the other.
That my pulsing third brake light 🤣

I bought the Lasefit as well and they crapped out at 6 months too. Switched back to the stock rear bulbs. The front turn signal bulbs have lasted though.

this is a long standing on going issue with Lasfit bulbs, so much so that they stopped selling them for the Ford Maverick. I had a set in mine and had the same thing happen to me that happened to you. I ended up just going back to the OEM bulbs and have since forgotten about Lasfit, well that is until your post. best bet, just reinstall your OEM bulbs and forget about putting LED bulbs in .

Yeah I had a number of LASFITs bulbs go on me, rear and front turn signals. Both types were first gens from 2022. They look great, but don't last in a daily driver.

Another option would be to de-activate the outage detection in FORSCAN to eliminate hyper-flashing. Doing this and installing LEDs that are designed with sufficient heat management will give you trouble-free LEDs for the lifetime of the vehicle.

Works only for those people that have FORSCAN.

This is the best reason to switch to LED taillights. Many people think it's for increased brightness, but stock taillights are plenty bright. Updating to LEDs gives a full car length advantage in reaction time at highway speeds.

True. I thought that was obvious. You could install resistors if FORSCAN isn't an option, but that will eliminate the LED's low current advantage.
