He must have forgot to turn the AC on!
Doesn't matter here in the summertime it's 147 plus degrees inside the cab when it's 115 outside.
Sitting on non breathable material.
There's no air movement between the unbreathable material and your skin much less cold air from the air conditioner.

At 117 degrees, I can see your point! I would avoid going outside, let alone in any vehicle, in that kind of heat.

117° is hot.
Leather and pleather oops ActiveX
seats suck. Especially if they're black. We aren't even talking about adding in humidity Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Houston Texas.
And I have leather seats in my F350 but they're also ventilated. Which helps some. I love the looks of other seats. I just hate sitting in them.

I'm not much help, I passed up multiple lariats while I was waiting for my '24 XLT. The pleather didn't impress me much, the only options from the Lariat I really wanted were auto up/down windows and heated seats. I could have added Lux for the seats but the package is a terrible value and now that it's winter I'm not finding that I miss them much.

Well if all your using it for is commuting, errands, grocery getter, maybe some mulch a time or two a year, then yes your correct, you don't need 4k tow and probably don't even require a "truck".
If you do real "truck" stuff, want to pull a decent size travel trailer, pull a decent size boat, pull a utility trailer for your business, etc. then you are totally wrong, 4k tow will be needed.
There is very little you can tow with 4k that you can't tow with 2k. And very little actually truck things you can tow with 4k. Useless amount of capacity!
[/QUOTE]
While I agree with some of your other post about dealers adding the capability to increase price and that its a waste for many since they won't use it. However, for those that use it, like myself, or just need a little more than the standard package is rated for, then it Doubles the rated capacity. So I really can't really understand your stance of "very little you can tow with 4k vs 2k", "very little actual truck thing you can tow with 4k", "useless amount of capacity" being valid.

Yeah right I'm writing about your butt and backside against your imitation leather, where your A/C can't reach.
I never had a problem with that. My A/C was all I needed even in the Florida heat.
I knew a guy who ate way too much fast food. He was always a sweat hog.

I’m a walking rain forest when I’m out in the heat.
I self regulate due to I assume good circulation. But my A/C cools all of me down.

I agree that the active x seats get very hot, so I got these airbag friendly sheepskin at Costco online for $80. I only use them in the summer. You need to air them out before install.

I'm happy for you. Just a question do you ever post anything constructive or just degrading and/or argumentative?

I post from my experiences. I guess I just don't like complainers, when there are so many other seats they could have chosen. So much complaining.
Seat covers are an option.

I hope you feel better now. I think you can mute me.

I'll try and watch what I say a little better, because your kinda right. Degrading was not my Intention.

Thank you for answering my question, in a roundabout way. Have a great day.

err, are there airbags in the seats now?

What makes a seat cover "airbag friendly"

We aren't even talking about adding in humidity
If I want humidity, I'll hang out in the laundry room!
🤪

Depressingly, double-digit humidity is now common here during the summer. It wasn't when I moved here.

There are airbags on the sides of the seats for those t bone accidents.
