Keyless Entry keypad not compatible with 2024 Lariat?

Picked up my 2024 Lariat EB this week. Asked to have a keypad installed and I was told that they are not compatible with 2024? Anyone else being told the same thing? I was told it is only an issue after a certain build date. Dealer blowing smoke and just didn't want to do it or is this real?

Since the '24 Lariat includes remote start, maybe he isn't aware that there is a different keyless panel for that?

I pressured them on it and specifically stated I knew others with 24s that have had it added. That is when they came back with it only effects vehicles after a certain build date. Curious if anyone who has taken delivery in the last week has been told the same. My build date was the last week of October.

A friend of mine who works for a Ford dealer's parts department sold me one for my 2024 Tremor Lariat. My Maverick is one of the builds that has been in production since 11/17, not able to get any positive info as of the other day. Was told a delivery date a few days before Christmas, we will see !!! Will have the keyless programed when I pick Maverick up from dealership.

Or a lazy dealer. If there is no truth to it guess where I won't be taking my vehicle for service...

My 24 order that is built but hasn’t shipped yet is going to have it so that is definitely just a lazy dealer

Built on 1/17/24 delivered 2/16/24. Ordered with keypad as dealer installed accessory. I had to tell them i ordered it and they should have it. They found it installed it and programmed it for no added cost. Works fine. Looks ok. I did get to choose where it went.
