Got a call today .....part might arrive today.....I think Ford has no clue what is going on

Good luck! If it doesn't, you should be well within the requirements to do a lemon law buyback.

Having a plastic part with cooling fluid bolted on top of your exhaust sounds like asking for trouble. No doubt that lot of people will be bypassing the stupid heat exchanger when the truck is out of warranty.

Having the same issue since mid Jan.
check engine turned on after a very cold day (-30c), dealer changed a PCM but no success. now I'm waiting for their call when new parts arrives.
