Does anyone have experience with Kelly tires? My Continentals are at their end so I’m getting four Kelly Tires, oil change, and three most recent software recalls done at the dealer on Monday.

Do you not read this board? The only recall update that was causing issues has been updated again so it's no longer a problem. Why are you getting the recalls? Do you not read this board? Unless you're actively experiencing glitches, why bother? I've got 2 hybrids (23s) and they're recall-free. Zero issues.
Did you read my post? I said nothing about fearing the recalls. Check the reaction score list. I’m on here constantly.Do you not read this board? The only recall update that was causing issues has been updated again so it's no longer a problem.
I don't understand this fear of recalls-- they address known issues. 5 recalls done on my 22 recently with zero problems. If an unknown issue arises, the dealer will fix it.

Cooper tires are also owned by Goodyear.Kelly Tires are made by Goodyear now.
Kelly tires are inexpensive. They are ok, but won't be long lasting.Does anyone have experience with Kelly tires? My Continentals are at their end so I’m getting four Kelly Tires, oil change, and three most recent software recalls done at the dealer on Monday.
My bad! It was the first reply I saw so you were probably replying to someone I ignore.I wasn't replying to you![]()
I have memberships to both, but I was trying to do everything in one fell swoop. I might see if the dealer has a better option in my budget. I’ve had some bad experiences with independent shops so I trust the dealer more. I’m sure other people would differ though. For what it's worth, I used Kelly tires about 10 years ago and they were pretty mediocre. They performed okay and they wore out quickly.
I would recommend you check your options at Costco or Sam's Club if you have a membership to one. They typically include free installation and several years of road-hazard protection. The cost of the tire is usually only part of the equation at other shops. I prefer to pay a bit more up front for a better tire and better service, which still isn't much when distributed over the next 40-50k miles.
I’m going on a 1,000 mile round trip vacation next weekend, I’m almost at the end of the oil life, and I need the recalls so I wanted to get it all done on Monday. I’m not super concerned about price. I just want trusted service and this dealer has taken care of me so far.I'd never buy tires at a dealer unless they have a really good special running.
Discount/America's Tire, Cosco, SamsClub or a smaller local shop that is good will match those places.
Probably just missed out on all the Memorial Day discounts.
You're in CA - we don't really get summer rains, so I'd wait for July 4th / Labor Day deals.
