Quick Question:

For those that have received their 2025 Mavericks, did anyone get a proper owners manual?

All I got was a small "Supplemental Owners Guide"

Thanks in advance for an answer.

The Salesman said they don't come with one anymore. I found it online, but it's also accessible through the infotainment screen. I was playing around with it at a stoplight and saw a button to display the Owner's Manual. Below are pictures to get you to the manual on the truck.

Clicking on the Home button at the top left will bring you to the following screen....sometimes. :) Then click on the Features button to the right and then the Owner's Manual.

No proper owners manual this year. Gotta use the info screen. It kinda drives me crazy. At least we got the supplemental with the basics.

Saves the trees

so many manuals never get opened by owners in reality. 99.99999% never opened once

Thank you for that
My pleasure. I went out to the truck for something else and took a few pictures.

Click on the Home button at the top left and it will usually take you to the following screen. Then click on Settings and then Display. Then click on Mode, and you'll be able to make it permanently light/dark or allow it change based on the time of day.

Really? Man, I opened mine (or would have) on day one. I got it on my iPad which is what I prefer these days anyway. Only problem with the manual being on the infotainment screen, is what if you're trying to read the manual, because your car has no power?

I would LOVE to read the manual to see where to hook the power cables up to, but I need power for that! 🤣🤣🤣

Agreed. AND I don't even notice the front end that everyone was hating on when it was first announced. I saw it today and thought it looked great...or at least fine. :)

I mean, I’ve only opened one manual in all my vehicles, I usually just google the info. Like oil change and oil amounts and such.

Think about all the regular drivers/ladies/women.
They ain’t reading shit.

they just go to dealer.

Took delivery this morning (pictures tomorrow or Monday). Immediately installed the underbody cavity shield. Question, has Ford moved the muffler in the '25's? In the install video and the various YouTube look-at-the-undercarriage videos, the muffler is in the back right next to the exhaust tip. But with mine, it on the other side of the vehicle and a foot or two closer to the front. Just curious.

The wife and I both like the heated seats and steering wheel in our 2023 buggy. They work really well and are @ temp before we even get out of our subdivision. One thing that would have been nice is the push button start, but couldn't justify the bump up in $$ to the Lariat. The FOB key is spring loaded and wonder if it's just a matter of time before that spring get's sprung. Don't most vehicles have push button start as standard equip now ? C'mon Ford.
Just got my Oxford White 2025 Maverick XLT with the luxury package, a drop in bed liner, a smoke hood deflector. a keyless entry pad, and rubber floor mats. So far, I absolutely love it. Here are the pros & cons I've seen after having it for 48 hours.

Pros:
1) The screen is much better!!! It's bigger & clearer.
2) It has Synch4 and wireless Apple Carplay.
3) Seems to have more power when I press the gas.
4) It's white, not school bus yellow/orange. To be fair, I didn't hate school bus yellow/orange, (I actually liked it at first) but I wanted the color Cyber Orange was on the website and didn't get it. After a while the yellow/orange became less desirable.
5) Push button start is REALLY nice! It's not worth $10,000 or anything like that, but it's VERY easy to get used to.
6) The heated steering wheel is worth the $1k I paid for the luxury package. I have poor circulation in my hands, and this helps.
7) When I change the mode to "Slippery", the next time I got in the truck it asked if I wanted to go back into slippery mode.
8) 3 more years/36,000 miles of warranty.
9) As someone else pointed out, things really do feel sturdier.
10) The rotary dial is more firm, and changing from one gear to the next (ie reverse to neutral) is more defined.
(Edited/Added)
11) I forgot to mention, the sound system sounds better which is a huge plus!!

Cons:
1) I liked the information screen (where the speedometer is) much better on my '22.
2) They changed the quad view that used to have (top left) trip mpg, (top right) trip miles, (bottom right) miles to empty, (bottom left) real-time mpg & for this to turn blue when in electric/charge mode to have other things that aren't nearly as helpful.
3) There's not a way to easily see if I'm running in electric/charge/gas mode AND to know my real-time mpg at the same time. You can see if you're in electric/charging/gas mode by looking at the far left gage, but it's not easy. To make it easy there's an information "card" & a real-time mpg "card" you can add to the information screen, but then you can't see both at the same time. You have to toggle. I loved the old quad view. (If I'm missing something, someone please show me how I can get the old quad view...or something similar).
4) No physical buttons for the temperature controls.
5) Cost me more money.

(The new & the old)

So, what did you do with the 2022 Maverick? Did you sell it, trade it, still have it? Did you get a good price for the 2022? How many miles on the 2022?

Yep, people just get in and go and figure it out along the way.

I traded my XLT (with only a drop in bed liner & floor mats added) and 42k miles on it for $22k. I probably could have gotten $24k selling it privately, but when I listed it I just kept getting people wanting me to buy a report similar to Carfax before they'd come look at it (a scam). I got 2 non-scam buyers the day AFTER I traded it in.
