Received my Maverick hybrid

I received it Jan 19/22 in BC Canada and it is a dream. 800km per 52L it is nicer than my Acura MDX. THE FORD APP IS GREAT TO REMOTE START OR ENSURE THE DOIRS ARE LOCKED. IT IS THE XLT LUXURIOUS EDITION. I BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY DUE TO IT BEING THE FIRST YEAR. WELL WORTH THE 6 MONTH WAIT.

Picked up the same truck today, hybrid shadow black. Drove it around for 30 miles in the city today, averaged 41.9 MPG, I absolutely love it. Drive is better than I expected, interior rocks as well. I just have to get used to the unique feel of being on battery, I can’t even tell when the engine is running. The conversion from engine to battery is seamless. Ford needs an auto dimming home link mirror option though. Cab size is also better than I thought it would be. When in reverse it has a slight beeping similar to a garbage truck backing up, seems odd to me. Black is a challenge as I’m in El Paso and desert dust is the norm here.
will put some miles on this weekend and let you guys know how it performs. I still need to figure out apple play, synced my iPhone but pull up maps on the touchscreen yet. Also radio already locked up and would not scan channels. Had to turn offtruck to reset. Over all I’m in love and I guess that’s all that matters.

The back up alarm is outside for pedestrians to hear. Safety. Mine in the same cloud, XLT Luxurious edition. I can't believe the price, the drive and safety it has. I love the Gord app as I have it set to start every morning before work and 10 minutes before I get off work. $2500 for the full no deductible warranty fir 180,00 km 7 years. Includes everything except tears or rips in cloth,m dents and scratches.
