OP, can you comment on this a bit more? I've sat in a '22 XLT and thought the sound system was basically serviceable, but knew I'd want to add a sub. Is the difference in clarity, range, bass, etc? I'm excited to try mine out when it arrives, but you're the first I've seen comment on a difference!
I love a good stereo, but I'm admittedly not a music aficionado (I won't tell you how I spelled that word initially 🤣). So I can't really say the bass is deeper or the treble higher, but it does sound better imo...and noticeably so.

To give you a little context for me, my whole life I've had a hard time filtering out ambient noise, so at bars/parties/large gatherings I can't hear people well, because of all the background noise. With music it's the same. I frequently can't distinguish words due to the music. That's more applicable to point #2 below than point #1.

But I can say these 2 things: 1) The sound is "fuller" (not sure how else to describe it), and 2) There's a setting for passengers/driver only that makes a big difference. When I put it on "passengers" the music has more "body", and when I put it on "driver only" it's a little less "full" and much clearer. So if I'm listening to something I really need to understand (like talk radio), I'll put it on the "driver only" setting, and it funnels more to the front speakers which are clearer (I guess less bass).

Not really sure how else to explain it. Anyone else with a new Maverick wanna take a stab at it?

Pure speculation here but it may just be the beefier eCVT being able to push more power to the wheels?
I just want that Hotwheels toy truck that’s yer avatar :’P

I got my 2025 Lariat Hybrid Velocity Blue last week. This is my third as I bought a '22 XLT with Lux Package, then traded for a '23 Lariat. I loved the Lariat so on August 8th, I ordered a '25 Lariat. Manufactured week of November 18th and arrived January 3rd. I preordered Tonneau cover and bug deflector from Ford Accessories for their 20% discount and had them delivered to dealer. I love my new '25. Definitely feel it is quieter and more solid ride, even over the 23 Lariat. I agree with original post about information screen. I like the original much better. We shouldn't have to toggle to check engine drive status and running MPG at same time. I am getting used to the new screen. SYNC 4 works great and with bluetooth to my iPhone, I can preselect both local stations and Sirius channels on my Audio screen. I definitely miss the buttons for Climate. It is so easy to twirl a knob to adjust heat and fan settings instead of touching the screen twice, especially in winter with gloves on. I am a Ford guy so over the years have had 3 Thunderbirds, 4 Explorers, 3 F-150s, a Mustang and now my third Maverick. I am 76 and have told my kids this one is the last one but God willing we'll see what the '27s look like.

Thanks for the additional insight. There's one "card" (as they call them) that you can toggle to on the right side of the information screen called "Fuel Economy" that shows essentially what I love (real-time mpg, gas/electric mode, trip 1 mpg, and miles-to-empty); it just took a while to figure it out.

I took this picture right after I switched to this card, so "Fuel Economy" was still displaying. After a couple of seconds, it goes away, and the bar goes up to 50. And just to be clear, the "card" is just the small box from Fuel Economy down to "Hold Ok to Reset". The PRNDL line below is permanent, as is the fuel gauge to the right and the speedometer to the left.

It's not as good as the quad screen on the 22-24 Mavericks that showed real-time mpg, trip 1 mpg, trip 1 miles, miles to empty, and whether you were in electric mode or not (by changing color). Below is a picture of "Fuel Economy", and here's what it means.

1) The total mpg for Trip 1 (on the left of the card) is 34.1.
2) The white bar shows your real-time mpg (I photo shopped a white bar, because I didn't want to take the picture while actually driving 🙂). The real-time (aka instant/running/current) mpg is about 32 mpg (you have to estimate).
3) When the white bar disappears, you're in electric mode, so it's very easy to tell when you're in electric or gas (aka hybrid) mode.
4) And the miles-to-empty number is always at the bottom below the card.

Here's what it looks like in electric mode (no white bar), so it's incredibly easy to see whether you're in electric or hybrid mode. This is my go-to card. I might do a post of all the cards this weekend.

I know the time it would take you to do that, but I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say it would be valuable and appreciated!

I thought I saw somewhere that you could get that quad screen to show up on the larger 13-inch screen.

I believe I got something from the Information Screen to show up on the 13.2" Infotainment Screen, but I can't remember what it was. And I remember thinking, "Why would I want it over there?" But I guess it's as easy to look on that screen as it is the Information screen. Well, almost as easy. I'll check that out when I take pictures for the cards.

Does your heated steering wheel cool off after a while? Mine heats up quickly and is toasty, but after a few minutes it cools off to about "room temperature". Is that normal?
Now that you mention it I would say yes. By that time the vehicle has heated up so I never paid any mind.

Completely agree with all those differences noted. I’ve owned 22-23-24 Mavs—all xlt hybrids. Loved all of them. Average 45 mpg in our 24. Just drove the new 25 AWD Hybrid we ordered and I think we’re going to pass. I think between the $6K price bump, eliminating std securicode entry, eliminating the optional real sliding window, eliminating the wider-view mirrors (if u didn’t have co360), removing the hvac and drive mode buttons, replacing a very functional useful well designed instrument cluster with a stripped down far less useful or readable led display. And the fuel economy on the AWD has definitely suffered compared to our if the readings were correct. We can constantly coax our mavs into battery mode. The new one not so much. Also the regen braking has been dialed WAY back, which has been a thing between each successive model year. The 22 you didn’t need to use brakes much lol. Makes me really sad they’ve kind of ruined the elegant simple affordable throwback simplicity—much of what made the Mav the Mav.

I'm kind of the same. My hands and the cabin are both warm, so I don't notice much that the wheel is room temperature. I guess if my hands get cold again, I can turn it off and back on.

Congrats! I'm curious about the pushbutton start and keypad.

Can I leave the truck running with the key in my pocket and lock the door from the outside using the keypad?
My attempts to leave the truck running with the door closed resulted in the horn beeping twice. Annoying, so I found that if I just closed the door to the first catch, all was quiet. True, the door wasn't locked, so that is a consideration.

I think you can disable that with Forscan.

I keep seeing this Forscan stuff, and as an IT geek I'm very curious. But what's the warranty impact of using it?
