I love a good stereo, but I'm admittedly not a music aficionado (I won't tell you how I spelled that word initiallyOP, can you comment on this a bit more? I've sat in a '22 XLT and thought the sound system was basically serviceable, but knew I'd want to add a sub. Is the difference in clarity, range, bass, etc? I'm excited to try mine out when it arrives, but you're the first I've seen comment on a difference!

To give you a little context for me, my whole life I've had a hard time filtering out ambient noise, so at bars/parties/large gatherings I can't hear people well, because of all the background noise. With music it's the same. I frequently can't distinguish words due to the music. That's more applicable to point #2 below than point #1.
But I can say these 2 things: 1) The sound is "fuller" (not sure how else to describe it), and 2) There's a setting for passengers/driver only that makes a big difference. When I put it on "passengers" the music has more "body", and when I put it on "driver only" it's a little less "full" and much clearer. So if I'm listening to something I really need to understand (like talk radio), I'll put it on the "driver only" setting, and it funnels more to the front speakers which are clearer (I guess less bass).
Not really sure how else to explain it. Anyone else with a new Maverick wanna take a stab at it?
