I use the trash can because it was loose in the seat storage and it gave me somewhere to put a box of tissues.
there is another connector in the cup holder, not really sure of its purpose, looks like an adapter of some sort.

I was cleaning all the crap they put under the back seat and found the cup holder attachment, it was slid into a side pocket under the seat.
And to think i was wondering why they only offered a trash can or ford emblem for the back seat.

Yep it's part of the 3 FITS freebees that should have come with the first edition trucks. Sometimes they made it into the truck, sometimes they didn't. back seat cup holders, trash can and cord wrap.

I have a '22 Hybrid that I ordered the 1st day the site opened up for ordering. What you have is the FITS freebies as a previous post stated. Mine was not with the truck when it was delivered due to supply issues. Came to the dealer 2 months later and I had to go pick it up. I haven't used any of it. It sits on a garage shelf for future use.

They could give us a single cab and a longer bed!! I don't need the back seat either.

If you have a 22' Hybrid. that is the free Fits Kit. They gave one to all the Hybrid orders because they were delayed like 6 months because the EPA did not believe the MPG rating Ford provided and requested to do their own test to make sure the rating was correct.
