After much deliberation, I went with the Firestone Destination A/T 2. Costco made the purchase and install a no brainer as it only cost me $890 and Costco adds 5 yr road hazard, rotation and re-balance all included. Went with the stock 225/65R17 on my '23 XLT Hybrid. I love the "truck' look over the all season tires I was considering. So far, I haven't heard any excessive road noise & my mileage seems to be exactly the same but may be too early to tell for sure.

Fantastic choice! I have the 235/65r17 on my hybrid. Love them and milage is about the same!
You'll definitely use them as intended where your at, where I'm at there's never snow but lots of rain and muddy conditions.

Excellent choice. I have the same tire but in 235/70-17 on my truck. Very happy with how they perform, and you'll like them too!

Appears you live next to some of the biggest mountains in the U.S. with endless terrain and deserts after that. Plenty of places to enjoy an A/T tire. East coast, we just get a little snow/ice and have a few hills, lol. It's flat compared to the So Cal mountains but certainly a lot of dirt roads too. I just use the stock tire and snow tires in the winter. A/T would be a fun summer upgrade though.

I don't go "FULL" off road but the occasional trail runs and dirt roads. Really nothing too serious just fun runs, it is after all a hybrid not a tremor :)

I hate buying tires. So many choices.

On my old F250 diesel, the OEM was General. No good tires, not last long - approx 22k.. Changed to Cooper. Did ok till 2 tires had thread separation at approx 12k miles after installed. Learned some bad batch, replace with like kind Cooper, and those lasted till truck traded at ~96k miles, with good threads left.
