I put money on a 23 Tacoma today. The stealership said it should be here the middle of December but if something happens early January.

I’ve always had a thing for Ford trucks so I gave them a 13 month head start.

I wonder who will get me a truck first? 🤣 @Ford Motor Company 🤣

Well, probably Toyota unless you have already been built and waiting on transport. But, have you ever owned a Tacoma? I have, 2018 Tacoma Sport Double cab v6 automatic 4wd. It was a great truck, but...underpowered for sure, horrible gas mileage, and felt too tall for the width of the vehicle. The Maverick is not in the same category of truck as the Taco, but to me it is better suited for daily life. Better mileage, lower to the ground, and just as much if not more, interior space. Just my .02 and not hating on the Tacoma at all, just somethings for you to think about.

See that’s the problem, I’ve been waiting on transport since October of 2021. 😭

I don't blame you a bit.

Patience is quite overrated.

Same boat. Gonna see of the maverick can beat the rav4 here. To be fair i gave the maverick a 45 head start. And honestly i will likely keep both vehicles and sell our prius.

I definitely wouldn't have waited over a year for transport! I know times are tough and a lot different than they used to be, but over a year just to get a vehicle delivered? Nope!

Well the Tacoma was built 12/1/22 and is now awaiting rail.
Maverick has a build week of 1/25/23.
Fords pretty behind. 🤣

Nice, i have no build date on the maverick. i was offered a rav4 hybrid xle at msrp however it had a number of options that were about 3k extra so i passed on it. Seems like the rav4 will win for me though.

More like coin toss than a race.
Maverick you win, Tacoma you lose.

I really am sad about the situation. I’ve always been Ford and pushed people towards their trucks but this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company.

Same boat here. I don't miss my 2013 Tacoma at all. The Maverick is far more enjoyable and comfortable. And well over 2x the fuel economy.

My Tacoma eta is the middle to end of January. About a month later than I was originally told. Still only 2.5 months compared to 16 months or more for the Ford. 😁
