The 2 back rears are approximately 7” on each side when measured this way.

I noticed that the passenger side front has a little more space about 5.5” whereas the driver side is a little less than 5.250”
About a 1/4” difference, maybe a little more than a quarter inch from side to side on the fronts.

All 4 tires are equally and properly inflated and all 4 are worn evenly and have been rotated every 5k.
22k on the tires

Is the truck slightly heavier on the driver side front to cause that little difference and is that normal and how these are made?

thanks

You got my curiosity up so I just went and took the same measurements on mine. I have a Tremor so the heights are different than yours but my driver side and passenger side measure the same - which is what I would expect. Maybe others will report to give a fuller perspective overall.

Good luck.

IMO i would think they should be equal. Anyway you might have a broken shock or other suspension component on the side that is lower?

Silly question, but are you parked on even ground? I could see a case where the front driver side is sitting up higher in the wheel well if the tire itself is parked on slightly higher ground.

I once had a Volvo with the notorious “Volvo Body Lean”. Seemed like a 500lb driver was behind the wheel!

Since your tires are the same & the rear is level - maybe a fender(s) panel is out of spec? Would not be the first time. Maybe take a few more measurements in addition to the wheel clearance? Look for any uneven gaps at body panels or hood on both sides?

Does your Maverick drive straight like it should or does it pull slightly to one side or another? Hit any big potholes lately? Good luck with the mystery:)

Seems to drive straight and perfect.
What would hitting a pothole have to do with this issue?

Wow a 1/4''. You need to get out more.

Maybe a big pothole or a Dukes of Hazard style ramp jump could throw the suspension out of whack?

I’m not sure why you decided to measure in the first place? You say no problem and tire wear is fine, etc… but to answer your question 1/4” is really within reasonable range for sure & yes the back is higher than the front (for loading it up). I myself did measure roughly the same when I first lowered mine.

Try turning truck around and park in same spot. Just to verify.

It looked visibly low on driver side.
Of course the back is higher than the front there is no engine in the back. Way less weight in the back.

The battery is on the driver side, hence a quarter inch sag.

I just made that up, but go with that and
