I just picked up my Lariat yesterday it has the 4k tow package and the moonroof as options (as well as 495$ for Azure Grey).

After tax, title, tags and destination my final price out the door was 43,008 that was after the x plan and farm bureau discounts.

Its too late now as I have already purchased, but I am wondering was that a good price? I'm curious as what you other guys with similar options paid otd.

There's no way of knowing without seeing what MSRP was but likely Ford's new promotion starting today means it's likely cheaper to buy now then when you bought yours.

i feel a deal is only good if you feel it was good. I myself would never pay a cent over MSRP, and my most recent purchase I was a few hundred under. I paid exactly what the MSRP on the sticker stated, but the dealer threw in floor mats, a couple free oil changes, a bed mat. These items were not on build sheet, or listed on the window sticker. So did i pay MSRP? yes/no do i feel like i got a great price, sure.... helps me sleep better at night

It makes sense. I was under msrp but after taxes and tags I ended up almost even at 43k. I'm happy with the deal and was just wondering if people are getting anything better so I know for next time.

Yeah if you got X plan and FB discount (I did as well) that is about as good as you could do. I got the $100 private offer and somehow another discount that brought my total lower than my original DORA. My sticker was $40,240 and I paid $38,793 + tax on $17,793 (with $21k trade credit no sales tax on trade value in Ohio).

I did not have the $495 for paint but if you add my sales tax and doc fee I paid the total came to $40,277.48.

However it looks like you pay less sales tax down there (6.5%) than we do up here (now 8% but 7.5% when I bought).

Well maybe I will keep you up at night.

MSRP is a silly, arbitrary number, isn't it?

Like buying fireworks at those roadside stands....

Right side of the road: "Buy one at regular price, get one free!"

Left side of the road: "Buy one at regular price, get two free!"

Which side of the road are you stopping at?

A silly question because "regular price" (MSRP) is an arbitrary number.

I got a fully loaded FWD Hybrid for $32k which was $3k over MSRP in 2022. During the peak of Covid. While lots were empty. It was a walk on / drive off. Same day delivery. No waiting.
It tows 4k on pavement just fine.

To the OP - Which one would you rather have?
Which one was a better deal?
No need to answer. There is no correct answer here.

Sales tax, and license fees vary by state. Sales tax can even vary by county and city.
OTD is a meaningless number unless comparing within the same city/county.

Granted OP could have also stacked the farm bureau discount on A plan - he did great.

X plan + farm bureau (and if you got $100 private offer) and limited doc fee is top 5% for 2025 Maverick deals.

OP should feel good about his purchase.

Yesterday I purchased a 2025 Ruby Red Lariat, floor mats, 4K package with an after market spray-in liner. My trade was my 2015 Ruby Red Mustang GT with the performance package. $15,600 out the door for the Maverick. Is that a good deal, I think so. Only you will feel if you received a good deal or not. Could I have gotten more for my trade, maybe but it’s been sitting in my garage all winter.

I purchased my 25 Maverick Lariat 8 days ago from Granger, MSRP $38,656, for $35, 900 (this includes $750 cash rebate). I am very happy with the price I paid.

Your price is very close to what I am getting quoted.

I've been very frustrated that the "employee price for all" discount is getting absorbed by $1,300 to $1,500 in dealer doc fees and "EFT" fees, that appear to be a fee for the manager to look at his screen and say "yup, the money's there."

I own a couple of Tesla and a couple of Fords. The "dealership" difference is that Tesla basically absorbs the cost of its retail outlets and you don't see whatever mechanism they have for paying people (probably a lot less) at their "store." Sometimes you just buy on your phone (paying the same price as everyone else) and go to a lot and get your car with no human interaction at all.

What surprises me with Ford's dealerships (that are now mostly run by hedge funds) is that they're employing the yield curve against customers to maximize profits. I've been willing to pay the Granger price plus $2,000 to support my local store. I've now been turned away twice over a $500 difference, but damn if they are not willing to negotiate their BS fees.

Electric Vehicles are all around better than gas cars for everything except for towing. If Ford refuses to sell a Maverick Lariat for < $40k then a Rivian starts to look like a better value proposition and is a whole lot more of a truck.
