Since the Maverick has the start and stop feature, like the Highlander, will my starter stop after a couple thousand start stops?

I turn that stupid s**t off every time in get in the truck.
My first Maverick was an ecoboost and I installed a bypass into the ODB port. It remembered my setting so that the automatic stop/start was off after restarting. I think I paid about $100 and it was totally worth the cost.

I feel like an airplane pilot when I click auto start off, click OK, turn the dial, click seatbelt ok, then if it's daytime, click lane assist off then click OK.

I rode in a friend's Subaru in traffic the other day. The clunky A.S.S. was ridiculous. I'm grateful to not have that problem with the Hybrid Maverick's smooth as butter stops/starts.

It's something to wear out the CV joints faster.
