It all started here. Almost exactly the same today. Smaller package and more power output today. Same general arrangement.

But it's the same in Fords.
Note the power (expansion) stroke in the Maverick Hybrid is about 13:1.
The compression of the Maverick Hybrid is unpublished. But the low octane gas the Hybrid runs on suggests the compression stroke is about 9:1. The "manual" included with the truck does not mention this unequal strokes of the Atkinson Cycle for unknown reasons. They just don't.
