So I went to use the bed outlet in my Lariat Hybrid during the Texas ice storm last week. Unfortunately, it appears the inverter is not working on that or the back console outlet. I see the LED light up very briefly on startup and then go out. Has anyone had similar experiences and is there any troubleshooting steps I can do? Truck is going to the dealer tomorrow for recalls, but figured I'd ask here first.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Maverick concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

What were you trying to run with it?

Initially just a 12v battery charger for my portable generator. The power LED on the bed outlet was never lit up though. I'm assuming since the LED in the console outlet does light up briefly, that its a fault of some sort.

Did you have your truck running? It’s only a 400 watt inverter so a lot of stuff won’t work with it.

Yes, of course. I'm aware it's only a 400w inverter. At this point it wont even power a plug in phone charger.

I do believe both "outlets" come from one "inverter". But sounds like you have something wrong. 😥

They do indeed, the bed outlet not working led me to check the console one.

What are you trying to run off of it? Try running something like a lamp and see if it works.

I already tried a phone charger. The problem is the power led on the actual outlet is not lit. Something is or has faulted to the point the led doesnt even light up.

Look what I found... that's the same code that appears in FORSCAN. Maybe it's related to that.

Ah, I meant to check on FORSCAN and completely forgot. I’ll check this weekend.

Mine is in the shop for this right now. Told 3 days to get a new converter. So I am without my truck this weekend.

**update** They replaced the inverter and this did not fix the problem. They are now working with Ford Engineers to figure out what to try next.

Anyone else have this problem? (Only other issue I had was when I picked up my truck originally, the driver rear parking light did not work).
