So my XLT Lux 400W power inverter outlets are not working! I have only had the truck 2 weeks. Otherwise everything has been great. I don’t want this to sour my opinion on the truck.
I know for a fact the yellow indicator lights were illuminated on the bed outlet and the outlet in back seat. I was checking them out last week. Never used the outlets though. Now neither one works now! No indicator lights at all. FORScan shows “Code: B1330 - DC/AC Inverter Module” and I clear the code but it persists. Maybe a faulty inverter or wiring? I removed the truck bed outlet/cubby and checked wiring, all seated/plugged in fine. Layed under truck to look up inside the wheel well and wiring and everything was good. I have heard of some trucks wiring connectors not plugged from the factory. So I know it’s not that, at least at the bed outlet. I have not checked anything under the center console though. I know that’s where the inverter and main wiring reside. Pic shows the DTC from FORScan. Very weird. Not happy about it. Truck is only 2 weeks old and I haven’t even used the outlets yet. I don’t like the idea of the dealer digging into my truck for a “fix” smh. Could it have anything to do with my Autostop Eliminator? Anyone else run it with an inverter without issue? Or Amazon Ring car cam that is powered by the OBD2? Wondering if the code means faulty wiring for sure or maybe the truck battery is low (from power draw) and it locks out the outlets at a low voltage? I have not been notified by FordPass app that battery is low. And Ring dashcam turns off when power is low. Pretty sure it notifies also. I’m stumped. Any insight from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

Check battery voltage, check if fuse is blown, then take to dealer.

Let the dealer deal with it. That's what the warranty is for. BTW, I tried my bed out let with a small circular saw and it ran fine.

So after posting this I saw that other people have the same issue after using FORScan for TSR and LaneKeep adding. I got them both working. (No co-pilot360) and this happened. Hopefully I’ll get to the bottom of this.

Found this. Implies ambiant temp out of range or some condition out of range for operation. Maybe truck needs to be running and not in accessory mode. Perhaps something has been added and it's voltage draw is masking correct temp reading. Perhaps there is a bad ground on inverter circuit?? Maybe cabin temp is too high where inverter is located and A needs to be on.??
Ford DTC B1330:9A

Make:
Ford
Code:
B1330:9A
Definition:
DC/AC Inverter Module: Component or System Operating Conditions
Failure Type:
Component or System Operating Conditions
This sub type is used for failures where the control module has detected that environmental or other operating conditions are either temporarily or permanently outside the design limits for correct operation such that all or part of a component function is inhibited or fails, e.g. a radio is disabled because its LCD display or its CD mechanism cannot operate at a low ambient temperature.

I've not had time yet to take mine to the dealer. 3 months after picking our Maverick up we realized our inverter wasn't working. The cables were not connected in the wheel well as others have mentioned, but that didn't fix mine. The fuse was good. So far I've refrained from exploring under the console. Please let us know what your problem turns out to be.

I had the same problem with the same code.... It turned out to be the interior AC outlet.
