Inverter Issues?

Mine is in the shop for this right now. Told 3 days to get a new converter. So I am without my truck this weekend.

**update** They replaced the inverter and this did not fix the problem. They are now working with Ford Engineers to figure out what to try next.

Anyone else have this problem? (Only other issue I had was when I picked up my truck originally, the driver rear parking light did not work).

Did the dealer ever figure it out? My Maverick has been at the dealer for a month now and they are still throwing parts at it trying to figure it out. New inverter didn' t fix mine either. Can't be that complicated to fix the outlets can it? Smh

I have this little vacuum. I thought I could run it off the truck outlet. It kept shutting off. I know the truck is limited to 400w.
I could not find the wattage listed.

For $14 I think I'm going to order one of these voltage/watt checkers. That way, before I bring something with to run from the truck, I can plug it in at home and see how many watts it takes. Telling me whether or not it will run off of the trucks system.

Good idea on the watt meter. What is the amperage of the vacuum? Simple equation to determine the wattage.

Looks like 5a.
I did not know that you could do a conversion. I see 5 amps times 120 volt equals 600 watts. Yep too many watts.

Under the bed one of the connectors that run to the inverter, may not be connected fully or could be corroded, just gotta pop it off and take a look at the pins.

Any idea which connector under the bed it is, location-wise?

did you ever get a solution to this? I’m having the same exact issue with the quick flashing when it comes on. Interestingly, only the status light on the outlet in the cab flashes, the one in the bed does not flash at all. It is likely the source of my issue.
