If you are encountering the issue with the intelligent access not working specifically on the driver's door there is a TSB to reprogram the BCM to address it.

Thx!
TBS = Technical Service Bulletin. BCM = body control module. Yes??

What's really concerning to me is that this is the second time I've had no dome lighting nor intelligent access happen. Both times, I've had to charged the battery, reset the battery management system, and turn the lock system off and then on to fix things. PITA!

Correct. Although if it's the passenger side acting up that's still the battery being discharged/low, separate from the BCM programming issue where the driver's side quits working.

I have the same problem. At first I thought it might be because I use the spare key once in a while and the "intelligent" lock/unlock system didn't recognize it as a primary key.

Am wondering if the low 12v battery issue is related to multiple days of non-use after driving short trips in ECO mode. Both my episodes happened after that.

Mine is still consistently happening. Hopefully ford gets someone with the issue to leave the car at the dealer for a week to figure it out.

Hello, Tom! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this concern. Thanks!

After a few more weeks of experience with this issue, I've resigned myself to this reality:

If I take mostly short trips in ECO mode, interspersed with a day or two of not driving the Mav at all, I will suffer through an episode of lost interior lighting and lost intelligent door access.

If I do the very same thing as above (short trips, some non-driving days) but drive it in Normal mode, the Mav functions just fine (no loss of lighting or access episodes).

It bothers me that my MPG dips a tad , but I can live with that.

Have been on a honeymoon with my Mav since February. Love it. It's done everything asked/expected of it. But alas, now have my first problems.

First, the interior overhead lights (front and back) stopped going on when a door is opened. It's not a setting or bulb issue; the front and rear overhead lights go on when manually pressed. It's a small thing, but bothersome after the sun goes down. No lighting to see your way (or to see something that might be on the car seat) when getting into the car at night. And nothing is offered in the owners manual to help troubleshoot the problem.

The other issue is that the handtouch-activated unlocking of the car doors on the shotgun side stopped functioning. Not a problem on the drivers door side. Again, it's not a major matter, just really bothersome.

Anyone experiencing similar issues??

I will get it into the dealer soon.

same problem with my 2022 hybrid xlt. They replaced the battery once already. Now I’m having the deep sleep mode and no interior lights again. Monday the battery was dead. Thank goodness for an actual key to unlock the door so I could jumpstart it and get it to the dealer.
They act like “how often do you drive it?” I’m getting frustrated. Especially since the no start. 8,000 miles and some troubling issues

Since that Oct 2022 post, the Mav has continued to have lighting, intelligent access, and lane-change alert dysfunctions. Also, have had one deep-dead sleep episode which spurred them to do the wire harness recall work. But now it's back at the dealer for another week. That's a total of 4 weeks sitting at the dealer with electrical issues that they really can't get to the bottom of.
