This issue is caused by low battery, wiring harness issues, connector issues, that Ford needs to address by a TSB or recall. Mentioned in many threads on this forum.

I had the ‘Deep Sleep Mode’ problem, and the interior lights issue pretty consistently when I brought the vehicle home in January. I put a charger on, and fully charged the battery. Neither of these issues have popped up since.

Hi there. This interior light concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Maverick. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.
Hi, you already have it from another issue but thanks.

I wonder if the 90% charge goal of the BMS (according to Forscan) is a bit too conservative for the battery capacity. Had mine get low enough after a weekend for the no-lights state once. I recently set mine to 98% and will see what voltage that's leaving the battery at.

Great idea, keep us updated!

Looks like changing the BMS value hasn't really helped much. Continued to hover around 12.2v. I also reset the BMS yesterday and after commuting home and then to work this morning it was even still only just at 12v. Might just end up having to disable the battery management entirely.

I encountered the same issue. No lighting and turns out to be the deep sleep mode. Ford better start doing some recalls before a lot of us having dead maverick on the streets.

Deep sleep has been happening again for the past month. Not using ECO mode reduces the likelihood that it happens for me. Y commute to work is about 12 miles with 3 at highway speeds on the way in and 8 on the way home.

Had the "no interior lights" issue after about six days of not driving my 2022 EcoBoost. Lights activated with manual switch, but not by unlocking or opening doors. FordPass app gave an error when trying to update the vehicle status, but no warnings about deep sleep mode. Did a remote start and let it run 10 minutes. Still no interior lights. Connected the Battery Tender and got the battery mostly charged, still no interior lights... Turned the ignition off and on and they are back to working again, so I'm assuming that is required to reset the system.

I had interior lights and no Ford app warnings for almost 6 months. Last month the lights went out and the warnings started again. No rhyme or reason why.

Set up to have your battery checked on the Rotunda machine, my battery failed after one year, and I was having the same problems...

Mine does the same thing. I have to leave the toggle switch in the on position. It goes out 30 seconds after I close/lock the door or after starting my vehicle.
