It helps to keep your insurance rates low is to change insurance companies about every 3-4 years as they will start you out low to get your business and gradually raise them as years go by. Rinse and repeat.

Your age is working against you. Premiums generally rise after age 70. At age 80, there is typically another big jump.
Yeah I seen a jump a couple years ago, even with my ‘04 Dakota and just having liability coverage.

Where is this coming from?

I ask because I also have Progressive and have always had my vehicles as "pleasure" since I drive well under average miles (but definitely more than 2500) and figured it'd save a few bucks, but I've never actually been given a mileage limitation.

I had one of my trucks totaled 7 years ago, it was my daily driver but was listed as "pleasure" with Progressive. They paid out for the total loss, even paid out for the aftermarket parts that I could provide receipts for as I paid for extra coverage. It was a very easy, painless experience despite having my baby totaled out. They never once mentioned anything about the mileage or asked about my usage during the claim process.
When I signed up with Progressive, they asked me what those vehicles was used for I cant drive them more than 2500 miles. It's supposed to be driven only on weekends and to events.

We have a 2018 Honda CRV which we just paid off, BMW M5 (paid off), Boxster (paid off) multi motorcycles. We have on all vehicles:

Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability
$250,000 each person/$500,000 each accident/$100,000 each accident
Uninsured Motorist
$250,000 each person/$500,000 each accident
Underinsured Motorist
$250,000 each person/$500,000 each accident
Medical Payments
$1,000 each person

Our deductible is $500/w glass (need that here in AZ)

Everything but the CRV is "pleasure" vehicles (can't drive more than 2500 a year per vehicle) and paying $1100/yr. The Maverick will add $600 a year. We have progressive, I've had co-workers swear by Liberty Mutal, but for what I have, I'll be close to 4500/yr... I'm not loyal to any one company, I have a friend who is a broker, and if he can get me better rates, I switch.
If you don't drive many miles on a yearly basis you may want to look at Allstate's milewise program.

PAY-PER-MILE CAR INSURANCE

My wife only drives her 2009 Honda CR-V about 1000 miles yearly and I only drive my 2015 Honda Fit about 5000 miles yearly.

On the wife's CR-V her insurance dropped from $601 to $259 yearly while having lower deductibles.

I drive, but the cost would be very expensive.

For those who have received their Mavericks did you get a decent Insurance rate? I was wondering if having copilot 360 would help with insurance rates?

I don't have mine yet USAA has calculated my rate.

Ford Maverick Insurance price quotes for 2021 Maverick 💰 1640498700042

My multi-car discount is pretty much exactly what I pay for the 300ZX, so the 6-month cost for just the Maverick is $669.54 (ish).

None of the 360 stuff applied to the insurance rate (Though general safety features like airbags and daytime running lights did).

As an aside, this is way lower of a rate than I was quoted 3 months ago. I guess USAA recalculated after the Maverick actually became available.

EDIT: Quote was calculated based off of VIN, from which USAA was able to get all the correct information, so I know the it was calculated right and I didn't fat finger anything.

It depends on the insurance company. With Progressive they specifically ask if it has factory blind spot monitoring when getting a quote online.

This is my quote from Geico for full coverage on a hybrid XLT Maverick garaged on Long Island. My quote was also calculated off the VIN...

Add Vehicle Quote

If added, your 6-month policy premium will increase by
$700.50

I was quoted $930.00 yearly $1000. deductible from Farmers last September. My rates are going up because of being lucky. I’m 72!

In Florida, mid-age male, with basic coverage, GEICO didn’t care if it had Co-Pilot 360 safety package. The quote was $480, 6 months.

I am paying $75 month on my Bronco Sport in Florida. My Maverick quote for the same coverage is 100 per month.

I was quoted $44 a month with progressive. Part of that discount is if I pay in full at $264 for 6 months.
I’m 34 years old, male, married, multi car policy, southeast Arizona, and perfect record for both of us.

Any examples from State Farm?
Just snag a vin off any dealer site or via the Ford inventory locator and pop that in on your insurance company's website to get a quote.
