These are new ones, that have supposedly fixed previous issues. I drive in fog sometimes, and wondering if the DRLs will make matters worse.

What part #? What issue did the old model have exactly? The overheating hyper flash issue?

I have the LASFIT 4257 installed. They work perfect. Although, if you have the signal light on for 2-5min, they will hyperflash which is not an issue as per Lasfit.

"Since these bulbs built-in Intelligent Temperature Control, if you use them for a long time (a few vehicles maybe 2-5 minutes, it depends on year/make/model and temperature) may happen hyper flash, please turn off and cool 1-2 minutes, they will work normally again."

I would be more concerned about being one of those guys blinding oncoming traffic. The headlights on these trucks are surprisingly bright by themselves and I am surprised Ford hasn't nerfed them by now like GM had to do on some of their models.

Headlights need to be aimed. For some reason they are coming from the factory high. Ive done mine and 2 others and we can see better and dont get flashed.

. According to Lasfit, they fixed the error code messages, heat build up (longevity), the hyperfashing and decreased the brightness. I have heard from others as well, that extended periods of blinking can cause hyperflash and will test that soon.

I see.. looks like they got rid of a row of LEDs. My old model is bright, a little too bright for a signal light.

I replaced the old Lasfit version. Newer ones don't blind oncoming drivers when the turn signal is on. Should also run cooler so no hyperfashing.

For what it is worth, let me add this info on fog lights. Back in 1967, I bought a 1966 Datsun 1600 sports car from a friend who had gotten drafted. It was pre-wired for fog lights, including the switch on the dashboard. My brother-in-law, stationed in Okinawa, sent me a set of Datsun fog lights, a really well-made set. The bulbs were YELLOW. I did some research, and read that yellow lights will shine THRU the fog, serving their purpose, whereas white lights will just bounce off the fog, putting up a glare that made the vision even worse. The lights worked great whenever I needed them. On a long trip, I hit a crow eating its dinner in the middle of the highway. The impact broke the bulb in one of the lights. I could not find a replacement yellow bulb (those were the days before the Internet), so I put white bulbs in. NEVER AGAIN were the lights of any use in the fog. Again, FWIW.

I have ordered the Lasfit 16-bulb kit, and am looking forward to installing it. I had replaced the Lucas bulbs on my TR3 and TR6, and they made all the difference in the world.

I have these in my 2023 XLT and they have worked perfectly so far.

I tossed all my LASFITS , renamed them las quit as most of them died after 6 months. I tried the new version you show, it overheated and dimmed down to half brightness in under 3 minutes. I checked the temperature at 183 deg F after 3 minutes. Sent those back quick. Contacted Lasfit about the failed ones and they issued a refund for those. Ended up going with MAXGTRS direct from china

easy to do, or is there a ton of crap to remove. VW bugs were so easy to maintain
Very easy, need a phillips screwdriver. I do them in my garage using the wall as a guide.
