Looking to get these switchbacks for when my XLT maverick comes in. Will they stay on during the day kind of like the top of the lariats do? If so will heat be a problem for the headlight lense especially while on long drives? Last will the leds effect anything with the trucks wiring?
No, your Drl are just the low beams. Doesn’t affect anything

And you already have separate LED DRLs on the lariat - adding these too would probably just be overkill
Overkill can be good too.

If you want the switch backs to act as a white DRL you need to turn off the drl function in the option screen. This turns off your low beams. Then turn your parking lamps on. That illuminates the white switch back. I've been driving for a week now like this with no issues. They are plug and play so no wiring is affected. But remember to turn them off when you shut the truck down lol.

I have the 4257 Lasfit Turnsignals (without Switchback, amber only) + Alla Lighting WT21W/7W Xenon White Taillight/Brake/Turn Signal combo on all 4 rear sockets and I have no hyperflashing, inside or out. So, very similar, but slightly different than you. Also, another difference is I have a Lariat, not an XLT.

Additionally, another differentiator is I installed the Lasfit 4257 turn signals first. Drove around for a day and then installed the Alla rear LED's the next day. So I did them in reverse order than you.

It's been reported that it will only hyperflash inside your vehicle when your headlights are turned on. I cannot independently confirm that, but maybe tonight if you drive around you can tell us if that has any impact on it hyperflashing. Those Alla bulbs are not canbus either. They clearly state on their web site you will likely need to use resistors. I was hoping LASFIT would release the ones for the tailight that ARE canbus. They say they are working on it now.

Mine does not hyperflash with headlights on. I have Lasfit front signals and Alla taillight/brake/turns in rear. But maybe Lariats have a different outcome?

Could be because the Lariat already has a LED light in the tailights for the side marker, so adding these makes no difference. The XL and XLT do not. Hopefully this did fix itself. Those LED's for turn signal and taillights are definately brighter.

I also noticed that there is a slight difference between those canbus and non-canbus in that the canbus have a slight lag from the non-canbus. You really have to pay attention to notice it. I assume that is from the addtional circuitry. I am hoping Lasfit gets the canbus ones in soon. I'd prefer having canbus.

Well, I will be sure to mention Lariat in my posts. I may go back through mine to make sure that distinctive is there. Thanks for checking on your XLT!

Do we know if the maverick turn signals are controlled by a computer or if it has a delegate flasher module?

Yeah that is what I was afraid of for you. I did shoot an email to Lasfit and they claim they will be releasing the canbus taillights soon. Not sure what soon means to them. Nonetheless those will likely resolve the issue. I am not sure this is just specific to the XL or XLT as I have a buddy that lives north of me and he has a Lariat and experiencing the same issue as you exactly. Which is how I knew this information. Only I thought he had an XLT, but found out no he has a Lariat. Have no explanation as to why one Lariat would have the issue and another not. Just reporting what he told me.

I do believe the flasher is computer controlled and not a relay. That is a guess on my part, but having installed LED's on the last few newer vehicles I found this to be true.
