Are you asking why people modify their vehicles? Are you a proponent of everyone must think the same way, like the same things and do the same things? Or do you just think every should do, act and say as you see fit?
Well if you think modifying your vehicle and voiding your warranty is OK then go for it Buttercup😂

The answer is a catch can COULD void the warranty coverage in specific instances. It won't outright do it, but if the dealer has reason to believe the catch can was part of the reason there's a failure the issue wouldn't be covered. Voiding the warranty is a fairly broad term that isn't really applicable. There are things that can affect the warranty on a case-by-case basis. This is one which possibly could.

Im confused about what this can is plumbed to? Did Ford change the pcv location on the 2.0? On my Fusion its behind the intake manifold.

The installation here is for preventing buildup within the intercooler. The pcv is still behind the manifold and installation there would be used to reduce deposits within the engine. Each location has it's purpose and has been discussed here at length.

I know the Boomba Racing thread they discussed having 2. I don't know much on the specifics of the systems but that stood out to me.

Wow some people on here really need to look at the Magnuson moss warranty act.
But then again those are most likely the same people who think if you don't get your oil changed at the dealership your warranty is going to be voided 🤣
