If they sold the Chevy Montana here, would it compete?

I’ve seen this Montana around where I live and it looks pretty nice. I see much more VW Saveiro around but too small and would be better compared to the Santa Cruz. I have not seen a Dodge Rampage and none of the many Chinese brands have not noticed the interest in small trucks (yet). I wonder if these current competitors are just not good enough to take a shot at the US market and Ford?

I watched a video about the ’26 model Montana on Youtube.
I think its a sweet looking truck. I would have definitely looked at it if it were available here in the land of the big PX. Love my Maverick but ya, I would have considered it.

Yikes, I also see the Ram 1000 here is also 130hp. I don’t think they dare challenge the mighty (and larger) Maverick! And the little VW has a whopping 99 hp. I need to get some side-by-side photos so we can enjoy the giant Mav!!!

My cousin is a sale rep for a local Chevy dealer. I asked about the Montana and he said that it would not be coming to the US due the fact that it would cost too much to upgrade/modify it to meet US crash standards so I went w/ the Mav.
