Anyways, OP the auto stop start is based on battery voltage. If you just started your vehicle or the AC is running on a hot day, your BMS sensor will not let auto stop start happen because voltage is too low. This is normal, but if it's disabling stops start more than normal, I would suggest a trickle charger or new Battery and BMS reset.
I'm going to blame my accessory use mostly than anything really. Those heated seats work nice.

Ok, so you may have better eyesight than me... Can you maybe give us a hint where you saw this?

Either way works but in forscan you can keep auto stop start working and just have it default to off instead of on when starting the vehicle OR you can disable it permanently.
I've recently disabled mine, and it's quite nice, but I would like the option to use it in heavy traffic. How might I default it to off versus completely disabling it? Thanks for all of your hard work on Forscan.

1st push, it turns "off", which it already was.
2nd push, back to the default, which is off.

Gotcha! So yeah I was wrong. I guess if you disable it in forscan it is truly disabled and cannot be turned back on. They do make auto stop start eliminators that do allow you to retain the use of auto stop start but it just defaults it off, instead of disabling it entirely!
