Texas has long since been the purported pickup truck capital of the world. I'm curious how many Mav orders have been built and delivered in Texas compared to other regions of the country.

Don't sweat it! Texas is a big state full of big trucks. Maverick isn't more popular because it isn't big enough!

I've seen more Mav's at work than on the road.

Texas ranches are huge. Most would not consider such a small truck as anything but a toy. But Ford is king with the super duty's.

I remember watching Jay Leno's Garage where he was with George "W" and the First lady at his Austin ranch and they were in a Ford King Ranch roaming the property.

He is a Ford guy...

I have an FX4 Maverick and love it. I also have a 2019 F150 and in my opinion, if you really want a truck to do, truck things a Maverick might not be your bag. If you want one to be a multi purpose vehicle then they are hard to beat. It can be, a very fuel efficient hauler, nimble hunting or camping vehicle, something much more flexible than an SUV or car. Full size trucks in Texas are, and have been super popular forever. The Maverick will find its fans.

Live in Texas. Traded in a 2019 F150. I liked my full size pickup but I really just didn’t need it. The maverick handles everything I need. But full size will always be more popular here.

My point was in thinking Texas (and whatever region we're in as a whole) would garner a bigger share of builds in relation to other regions of the US of A.

As a Texan driving a Mav, I am in the small minority compared to full sized trucks.

Let's face it. Texas says "Go big or go home" on virtually everything.

We win a lot but when we lose, it's just as big.

F150 or a Mav in Texas isn't the question. It's F150, Ram or GM. (Sorry Toyota, you don't compete.)
