Will the Maverick hybrid be able to keep up that speed or higher without issues?

Absolutely both the Hybrid and the EcoBoost can travel over 80 without issues. I frequently get my Prius to 85-90, though uphill it hates me.

Yes I know, just couldn't resist bustin' the OP's chops when I saw he is in Lakeland. I lived near there many years ago.

Apparently you don't drive I-4 very often ??
Nope. I moved from Florida almost 50 years ago.
Off topic, but tell me is your user name referencing the Farmall Super A? Just curious if you were also an old tractor fan.

Considering the relatively high coefficient of drag that pickups have vs. cars, I wouldn't think the Maverick Hybrid would be able to go much faster than 80 mph. Maybe 85- 90 mph? Perhaps 95 mph for the Ecoboost? That's my guess. 60 mph is good enough for me.

Uh...no.

Unless it's electronically limited, the eb should be able to do like 130+. The hybrid maybe a tad less, but not 80...

The first truck I had was a old used Chevy S10 with the four cylinder, 115hp if I remember right, and I remember that it went 89mph because the officer laughed at my honest reply when I told him I wasn't sure but I don't think this truck can break 90mph and he said close! And that was certainly with the foot on the floor when he got me.

So the Mav should have no problems at all with almost 200hp on tap.

That said, pickup aerodynamics do suck, and I generally hit cruise control on the Ram at 60 or 65mph. It really makes very little difference in total travel time, but the fuel economy difference is very noticeable.

Even really aerodynamic vehicles have a massive dropoff, so you can imagine how bad it is with a pickup. This is Consumer Reports measured fuel economy vs speed:

Honda Insight
1.3-liter 4-cyl.
51.9mpg @55mph44.8mpg @65mph36.5mpg @75mph

My non-aero Honda Element could go considerably faster than that. My '89 Toyota Pickup could go 80+. Hell, even my little electric i-miev can hit 81!

Is it even possible to buy a regular production car that can't hit 90+ anymore?
