Dang, the more I read you guys, the more I realize my XL DOESN'T have! Next, you're gonna tell me that you got all four wheels with your models, and didn't have to pay extra for the two front wheels.

I have an XLT, so I don't have it either, I'm glad mine came with 4 wheels

EV Coach???

Yes, the EV coach. It's on all trim levels of Mavericks.
It shows you when the HV battery is charging (GREEN), when you're using electric motors (BLUE), when you're using Hybrid (BLUE & WHITE) and when you're using only the ICE InternalCombustionEngine (WHITE).

Is yours a Lariat Lux? I have base Lariat and I don’t seem to have those options.

To see "Electric" displayed in the instrument cluster of a hybrid XL when it's operating under electric power you want to check "Instantaneous Fuel" in the customizable options.

Yep I think it’s only available on Sync 3 which is with lux package only.

Yes, EV coach is the way to go on XL and XLT. Select off of your Menu on the steering wheel. Still de-ciphering it but shows when you are all electric or hybrid. Even shows on the display bar how far you can go down with the pedal before hybrid mode kicks in. Also tells you when you exceed the regen limits when braking, and I think the blue electric bar gets shorter as your battery runs low.
Great tool for maximizing mpg.

The MOST USEFUL gauge on any hybrid maverick, any trim, is EV coach.

I totally agree. The EV Coach can quickly teach you how to get the highest mileage from your Hybrid, in an easy to understand, uncluttered display. And it's right in front of the driver, in the instrument cluster - where it should be.

Then, I guess you think they should only build Lariats? No low cost option?

As an option for the other trims, in other words, if we wanted in we could pay for it, but they would be bundled together in the higher trims

Learn it. Live it. Love it.

Not much use for it in highway conditions but this gauge can easily add 5 to 10 mpg boost to your city driving style.

Everyone loves it once they learn it.

Have my maverick since 8/22. Just found the ev coach today!! (At 11k miles) You are 100% correct. I love it and will use it daily to boost my mpg.
