My 2022 FWD hybrid with aftermarket equipment pulled 4,000 lbs. up a 19% ""boat ramp" IN EV mode.
STRICTLY A TORQUE TEST
Not a recommendation you should do it.
The hybrids have more than enough torque and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Measured 11 degree slope which pencils to a 19% grade.
EV mode.
3 to 5 MPH.
FWD (could use AWD I had a little wheel chirp but no biggie).
Short distance so small battery pack was not at issue.
800 lbs in bed.
3200 lbs trailer.
One 200 lb. person.
75 lbs of luggage in back seat.
Dry. 85 degrees ambient.
Do not attempt unless you are a professional driver on a closed course.
(I'm compelled to say that by site worry worts. Not a boat ramp but similar.)
