My hybrid order was a reorder (transition) on 9/16. I ordered everything I had last time, lariat lux, moonroof, and added BAP. Built Dec 19.

I think Ford will eventually do some kind of "rollover" to MY24 for unbuilt MY23 orders. It will be different from this year's, let's hope. I do not believe they would just let those potential sales just go away.

And that is referring to offers, not to rolling the order over.
And if:
  • interest rates stay high
  • used vehicle prices continue to drop
  • repossession skyrocket
There may not be much if any price increase for MY 24

What do you want pictures of? And these were not “carryovers”, whatever that means.
Don't know what a carryover order is but you sound like an expert on everything else...

Very useful information to OP.
here’s even more. Rollover or whatever you call it from June 22, I added Lux package when I did my 23 re order. My 23 order wasn’t submitted til late day 3 for some reason. Priority code 10. I went into my dealer yesterday to settling my financing. And got this sweet pic of its travels. Eta is Thursday. Fingers crossed, I haven’t seen anyone else post pics of a delivered ordered 23MY hybrid here yet.

People keep misquoting Ford. Here is what they actually said.
Ford24.png

intention and "will not" are not the same thing.
Ford is trying to manage expectations here. They don't want you to get your hopes up or wait around thinking that if your 2023 order is unfilled, then you'll get a transition offer.

Bear in mind that what is quoted is correspondence from Ford to its dealers. It's not something they intended for the public to see, it's just that these things tend to get out anyway. Much like the order guides all say Proprietary on them yet they get posted anyway, etc.

That's important to remember so you understand the intent behind the correspondence. Many dealers took more orders than they had allocation for, leaving customers with orders that could never be filled. Some dealers went well in excess of their allocations, not just on Maverick but on other hot models like Bronco. Mostly the ones that have been offering the best deals.

Ford doesn't want dealers ordering well in excess of their allocations, leaving many unfilled orders, and leaving customers waiting well over a year. All that means is upset customers.

By telling dealers that there is no intent to provide a 23MY to 24MY transition offer, they are telling dealers to keep their order volume in line with their allocations. If a dealer has a customer who never gets their order, that's on the dealer. They took an order they knew they couldn't fill.

That's what this is about.

Now, it's entirely possible Ford could approve a 23MY to 24MY transition offer after all, but no one should count on that.

The problem was not the total number of 23 Mav orders. They only took in 86K orders but made over 100K MY 22 Mavericks.

The problem is the number of Hybrid orders they took. They should have shut down Hybrid orders early and kept on taking EB orders for a while like they did for MY 22.

Hybrid is the big one but that's not to say that no dealers oversold their EcoBoost allocations.

The 2023 Hybrid orders were taken Sept 16-20. There is information floating around that says the chances of actually getting an ordered Hybrid directly corresponds to the actual day of order. There were certainly dealers sitting on pre orders that were submitted on day 1. Is it a good assumption to believe that the chance of actually getting built directly will correlate to which of the 4 days an order was submitted ? I submitted my order to the dealer on day 1 but my acknowledgement email from Ford came on day 9/20 with priority code of 10. Considering a switch to Ecoboost if I am extremely unlikely to see a Hybrid. I dont want to get into the rollover situation to 2024. It does not appear that program has been a pleasure for the 2022 to 2023 rollover folks.
I'm beginning to think some of you guys just chat on here to hear your teeth rattle!!!
I ordered a Maverick Hybrid on day one in September, got email almost instantly from Ford, truck was ordered...3 months almost to the day Email truck being built week of December 19 th... week later e mail moving up a week to December 12th..
On December 22 nd. Got email Truck was built and on the 30 th. Of December my Maverick Hybrid was being shipped to my dealership and will arrive of week January 17-23rd..
So four (4) months to order New Maverick Truck Hybrid, loaded, I think is pretty normal in my history of Ford, and can't wait to fly home to pick it up by end of this month... ROAD TRIP...

You're very lucky; sounds like you got in before the options were verified on the 22my rollovers.

I walked in and ordered my '23 Hybrid on 9/16/22. I picked it up last week. Yes, I got mine in 3 months. I don't understand how I got mine so fast, but I'm not complaining.

If it makes things any easier for you, Ford has said they will not be rolling over MY23 orders into MY24. If it doesn't make the cut, you start all over.
I’m wondering if there are potential legal implications if they don’t. If a company promotes a specific product at a price, acknowledges orders, keeps customers waiting for a year then cancels the agreement without rolling it over wouldn’t the Federal Trade Commission consider it false advertising?

The order date will matter very little. Regional and dealer allocations, then constraints, profitability, priority code, then time stamp. If you ordered from a larger dealer with plenty of allocations, you should get your truck being that you ordered early, have a priority code of 10, and having the XLT package, which isn't constrained and is more profitable for Ford to build.

My priority code is 11 on my Alto Blue XLT with luxery package. I also changed to Ecoboost. Priority code stayed the same. I am hoping I get it before my 60th birthday.
