Hybrid 12V battery question

My question is directed at those who have installed any electrical components on a Hybrid Mav.

I have read that the Hybrid has a 12V battery monitoring system. Is there a procedure to follow if you are reconnecting a 12V battery that has been disconnected for any length of time?

From what I see when reading the excerpt you posted, if you only disconnect the negative terminal, you should not have to perform the battery sensor reset. I guess that's why it's pretty much a non-issue for most audio installations. Thanks again.

I have read through numerous installation threads on this forum, covering many different after market components. I have never seen anyone comment or mention doing anything "special" upon reconnecting the 12V battery.

I assumed there was nothing of note, but I just wanted to make sure prior to taking on my own install. Again, thanks all.
