With all of the hybrids nearly sold out, I got to thinking about how much I'd be able to sell my hybrid for (once I have it in early January 🤞) 🤔🤑

Well it has to be more than the out the door total price you paid including sales tax, registration and fees.

Probably for profit, but that begs the question - what will you replace it with?

Someone better offer a lot of money over what I've paid to make it worth the time/trouble.

Most people buy hybrids for the money saving. If you're paying a big markup that is worth 5 years of fuel, what's the point? Then again, there is a sucker born every minute.

While ordering my Mav, my salesman told about a new bronco that was ordered in to the dealership, the guy who bought it came to pick it up, paid for it and had a truck waiting to pick it up and drive it out of state, he sold it for over 25k more than he paid for it!

Right this second, NOT a thin dime since it hasn't been scheduled to build yet.

Having said that, I wouldn't expect more than $5,000-7,000 over MSRP. I don't think you would get more than that. Just a gut feeling.

Yeah, for a Bronco. I love the Maverick, but I don't think that there are going to be nearly as many emotional purchasers who will pay way over sticker for this truck.

Who would have thought that the possibility of scalping new cars would be a thing, eh? Strange times...

No interest in selling. But I'd be a smug mofo knowing that my new ride is worth more than I paid for it😁

Also, on the off chance that I find I don't really like it, it'd be good to know I can get out with minimal to no hit.

Honestly, even when I ordered back in July, sight unseen and with no test drive, I said what the hell, if it goes wrong I can sell without losing much.

If someone gave me $5k-$7k over my final cost for my Hybrid I would do that. Then go out and get an ecoboost Maverick. Pretty sure I would be ahead after 10 years of mostly highway driving I do, and have a peppy truck to boot!
