Well it happened again today. I was on my way home when the person next to gave the roll your window down signal, he asked "How long did it take to get your Maverick?, How is the mileage? and Do you love it?
I answered: " A year and a half. Great, so far. I only have 475 miles on it. And Absofreakinlutely!

I’ve had mine for 11 mo the now. I think I’ve had 4 people ask me about it in 12,500 miles.

I got mine on July 29th. Have probably had at least 20 people ask me about it. About half while I had the temporary tag. I think I have had more because of the color, Cactus Gray and having the dark Maverick letters on the tailgate. Most questions were about mileage, how did it drive and room in the back seat. Have had four take pictures of room in the back seat or the color of the "leather" seats. Told them I loved it since I was not ordering a MY23 and I was not worried about number of orders!!!!!

Only a coworker who saw me getting into my truck asked about it. Mainly bc she knew how long ago I ordered it. However I have had plenty of strangers stop and stare at me in parking lots when I go into reverse and the truck starts beeping. I def wish I could turn that noise off lol

I've had quite a few. The strangest was a month ago my next door neighbor had need of paramedics (nothing life-threatening, thankfully) and they rolled out the ambulance, a pumper truck and a hook and ladder! Several firefighters were standing around as they loaded up my neighbor and a couple of them started asking about my Maverick parked in the driveway! Very odd talking about the Maverick with a bunch of emergency vehicles in front of my house.

I’ve had a lot of people ask about the Maverick. The most popular question is how much over MSRP I paid for it.

My first and most memorable interaction was from a semi truck driver who geeked out over it in a parking lot. He complimented the styling and how well it should age based on how it was designed with the exterior plastic placement and was blown away by the capability (ecoboost engine w/ 4K towing). He had years of owning trucks and said the Maverick is a “real” truck and even gave us a trucker honk as my husband and I drove away. I felt like Hank Hill when he was accepted by the truckers lol.

Several times, mostly while getting gasoline for my Rapid Red First Edition Hybrid. Some have taken pictures and a few wanted to see the interior. A few have followed me and pulled along the side and gave me thumbs up
