Yes, the connector is under the seat.
In my specific situation, the dealer ended up replacing the airbag wiring harness as the airbag light started to fire again within a few weeks of the initial attempt of a fix. I haven’t had any issues since.

This light popped up several times after the initial post. Seat belts were correctly fastened prior to starting/driving. Vehicle was seen by the dealer this morning, and I was informed that a loose connector to the driver's side airbag was the culprit. Hopefully this resolves it.
